Here's some ideas - you may already have thought of them though......

    How many midwives will attend

What pain relief can they bring other than g & a

Will you be wanting a physiological 3rd stage & if so are they ok with that

Do you want bilogical nurturing/kangaroo birthing?  are they familiar with it all

what will you need to have prepared

how long will they let you go over your due date before they start induction rumblings?

are they happy to let you birth in any position

will they let you catch your own baby if you want to

.....it really depends what you are wanting for the birth - if you have a birth plan then I would definitely go through it with the midwife.

    Hi everyone.

I'm hoping to have a home birth this time round. I don't think it'll be a problem as they seem to be very pro hb in my area. The midwife mentioned it to me at my first appointment before I had the chance to ask about it!

Anyway, I'm seeing her next week and this will be my first chance to discuss it with her (haven't seen her since 7 weeks and will be 27 weeks then). I'm just noting down any questions/concerns I have and was wondering if anyone could add any to my list so I don't miss anything out!
