I had the same with my last one, MW couldn't tell so sent me for a scan. The lady who scanned me asked me which way I thought the baby was, I said head down, she had a quick feel herself and said you're right. She still had to do the scan tho, which confirmed what we both knew

Good news! Baby is head down, liquor is fine and the size is average! so all set for HB!!! Can't tell you how relieved i am, with 3 weeks to go its all getting very real!

The estimated feotal weight is 6lbs at the moment, so with 3 weeks to go doesnt look like it will be a whopper as my dh has been teasing me about! dd1 was 6lbs, dd2 was 8lb 2oz and he keeps saying that this one will be 10lb 4 oz, so hope the estimate is somewhere close to where it actually is!

thanks ladies, been awake half the night, dh such an insensitive **** just keeps saying dunno why you are even worrying, ggggrrrrrrr, cant wait til he has the snip in october, then we will see how he copes under pressure!!!!

I am 36+4 and MW today says it feels like baby is head down but the heartbeat is much much louder at the top, so booked for scan in the morning to check, on a positive note she did say if it was breech then i could deliver naturally at the midwife led unit as opposed to the consultant led one, and i do also have the option of having baby turned, any one have any experience of this?? But if we have the baby turned (which would be in the consultant led unit i swore i would never return to after the mess they made with DD2's delivery) then they said if baby got distressed then straight in for csec, or maybe a rupture of membranes, so dreading that,  aaarrrggghhh, just stressing now, i have everything crossed that this baby will be head down tomorrow.
