lmao!! that  bit about your a$$ in the air made me laugh!

im due in april also, this is also my second, last time i gave birth in hospital but i want a home birth this time, not really sure what i need to plan tho,,

due 30th april n so want a hb again this time as the last was fantastic altho very scary as was by myself until the last second.

i was refused a hb at 36wks by consultant as was measuring 45wks n scan estimated her to be weighing 8lb so said it was 2 dngerous, plus ds was prem at 36+0 so didnt think i would get that far as consultant said 38wks at earliest but def could not have 1.

after looking at my rights n having a fantastic mw who sat n went thru everything with me on the sun afternoon, all the complications etc, decided to go against consultant n re-book for hb. got passed at 3pm on the mon (37+3) n mw said she would bring papers, box, etc round following day but would have it in car just incase. she then phoned me at 6pm to say she had a made a mistake n was off duty tonight n the next town were covering (50min drive) but i said no problems as wasnt planning on anything happening.

at 9pm stood up to go to toilet n waters broke phoned mw straight away n whilst obn phone contractions started n were already only seconds aprt. mw told me 2 phone an ambulance if got worse, but thought nothing of it. just b4 10 i was getting strong urges 2 push n when felt i could already feel the head crown, at this point dp was on phone 2 mws as they rang to say they were lost, luckily only in next street, so he went outside to look 4 them whilst i staggered in2 bedroom, as soon as i heard them hit the stairs i let out the biggest push, follwed by another, just as the mw entered the room to catch dd with dp right behind, followed by the 2nd mw carrying 3 bottles of g+a, lol.

so shocked at how quick it was n rather embarrassed as was on all 4s with my back 2 them so the 1st thing they saw was my big fat ar*e, lol, no introsuctions till after

my mw then came on the way to work the following day to bring me everything n was totally shocked to walk in and see me holding my little girl.

its the 2nd time i shocked her, as when had ds, she was due to visit me that day, obviously had no time to ring her n explain as was in the early hrs, so she just forgot i had gone out n forgot, so came the next day on the off chance n was greeted by banners everywhere n was totally shocked with me being a mth early.

just hope i can make 37wks again this time, as dont fancy hosp n def not giving birth on the dual carriageway, lol
