I just don't want any reason for her to say that I'm not allowed it as I'm really excited about it. I won't panic buy furniture then!

well even with a fully furnished house i still gave birth on the floor with my homebirth so i wouldnt worry about it too much.

as sam said as long as you have a space that is clean and cosy for you thats all that matters midwives are used to all sorts of situations and people recently moving house and being a bit topsy turvy at the time must be a regular one.

Well yesterday was my 31 week appointment (but I'm 32 weeks today) and I told her I wanted a hb and she didn't even bat an eyelid. She said she'd call me about it and then arrange to come over to my house.

I'm a bit worried though as we're still in the process of moving in and I have no furniture, so where is she going to sit. Would this affect the chances of me having a hb or is this just stupid? I do have a dining table and chairs!!!
