hi jo hun.  this is my third baby and im planning a homebirth too.  im due in dec and my mw seems great about it at my lasy hospital birth the mw said to me that next baby i should try having at home and that made my mind up  i didnt even need them lol i just called them in when it was time to push.  i cant wait and am getting prepared early

Hi Jomum, this is my 3rd pregnancy but wanting a home birth this time i think as first 2 weere hospital births. Im torn actually between home and water birth so if any one has advice on both that would help me a lot! I find alot of people quite nervous about me having a homebirth just because incase anything "goes wrong" but my last 2 labours/births were so straight forward either of them could have been born at home without any problems. But i suppose there is always that worry of something going wrong and needing to be transferred to hospital but i am really drawn to a homebirth this time. i am due 1st jan, last 2 babies arrived early so dont want to be in hospital over christmas either really. xxx

Hi hun and welcome to homebirth forum!  You will find us all a friendly bunch here!  I had my ds 3 months ago now but still hanging round to offer helpful advice.  Check out some of the birth stories!  Also www.homebirth.org.uk is a helpful site.  Good luck with organising everything and Here's hoping it will be a fantastic experience for you.

Hiya everyone i am due on 25th Feb and am gonna have a homebirth this time round. I have found the midwife really supportive which is a big help !!!! But i would love any advice anyone can give me and let me know what i need etc ? Thanks ever so much love jo x x x x x x x
