I had a physiological 3rd stage and got out of the pool to deliver the placenta. By the time i'd had a cuddle with DD, DH cut the cord, i got out and out my dressing gown and walked through to the lounge, it just fell out lol, took only 20 mins!!

Physiological, btw. Took 45mins xXx

At 34 weeks now is the time to start to think about my homebirth and birthing plan. WHat do you all recommend for third stage labour, in my last birth I had a managed 3rd stage, however not sure how this is practical or possible in water and whether I would have to get out quickly for a managed third stage or whether I should have a physiological third stage.
