*** class="comment">hi ladies, well on 12 sept at 4.56pm weighing 7lb 5oz baby lily walker was born.
well i started with tightenings about 10 in the morn but thought nothing of it, but then at about half eleven i got a contraction that absolutley floored me!! omg i couldnt even speak!! from that point on my contractions were 5 mins apart - so rang chris and he came home from work. and sods law - he had just started a tattoo!!!
chris ran me a bath and i had a 10 min soak to ease my back cos it were killin me. which was lovely - until i got out!! i put my tens machine on and gave mw a ring at about 1.30pm - they were here for 2pm. checked me and i was 4cm. whilst they went and set there kit up i concentrated on my breathing - leaning over my beanbag. then before i knew it ladies i needed to push!! i had some gas and air to help with the pushing - but tbh i think i just chewed the mouth piece more than sucked the gas!! 15 mins later - she was out!!! had no stitches or grazes or anything!
i can honestly say that giving birth was wonderful - and i would recomend hb to every one. it was so peaceful, and calm. i didnt shout or scream and chris was fantastic. the mw were lovely too!! one mw helped me have a bath whilst the other one helped chris sort lily out , then they cleaned up and left!!
good luck too all ladies waiting, and congrats to any i missed xxx lisa xx
