well at last im going to put my little man down for 5mins so i can write this lol.

sunday 14th been really busy no signs of labour so went to nephews party then rockpooling with dd and dh. got home with some chips and a film.dh joked how good it would be for the baby to come then as he would get the week of work and meet his son and he won a boat of ebay that day...well  at 10pm a felt and heard a click down below but nothing happened so thought nothing of it at 10.20pm me and dh went to bed as soon as we got into bed i had a contraction.

me and dh layed talking for a bit when i said to him i think you better be timing these as they're really really painful and seem to be close together. contractions were coming 2 mins appart then 4 then 2 then 4 ( this is how i was with dd to) so i said before calling mw i wanted a bath. after my bath ( 11.20 pm) i asked dh to call mw and mil so she could come collect dd.  birth centre said they would send mw out straight away.

my mil turned up and sat rubbing my bk whilst dh got everything ready.  then my mw turned up at 11.55pm so mil left with dd. my  mw then done all her checks and filled in her forms and examined me at 12.30 am and said i was 3 cm dilated baby was very low and done a sweep. dh rubbed my bk as i lent over my birthball on my gym mat ( the best use it ever got lol) and we were talking to mw. at  1.30 am mw asked for a urine sample so i went off to do one to find i had had a show!

at 2 am all of a sudden contractions were more intense so i knelt on all fores over my birthball by 2.30 i asked for gas and air so mw set it up i couldnt get it to work so i threw it on the floor lol

i told mw i felt a pressure and she told me to tell her when it got worse on the next contraction it was worse and i told her i needed to push. she asked if she could examine me first so i layed against the sofa with dh sitting behind me holding my hands.

mw examined me at 3.20am and said oh my gosh ! your 10cm's and i can see the head ! i grabbed the gas and air ( and got it to work for me lol)  and started to push ds was born 3.30 am weighing 8lb 0.5 oz
