Hey honey, Kate has been keeping me informed on everything. I am so glad they are ok. Cant believe it all happened so quickly. Cant see where you have put photos though. You take care of yourself now babe and give those babies a kiss from me. Keep us informed on their progress. I hope you are doing ok as well as it must be horrible for you to leave them. Take care. wow wow wow - congratulations Jue. What a quick labour and no pain relief!! I do hope they are home with you soon.
That first cuddle must have been lovely.

hi ladies, hope you are ok, cant sleep at the min, came home last night and it is horrible leaving them both.
Emerson Charles Smith is doing well, he is still on cpap but is stable and taking 2ml feeds through his feeding tube stating from yest morning, i have got used to changing his nappy even with all the wires, they are micro nappies and are the size of baby doll ones!
Mabel Elizabeth smith is doing really well and is having 6ml feeds every 2 hrs, it was being increased tonight, just before icame home i was allowed a cuddle and she had her 1st skin to skin contact and she lay staring at me and loved it, it was so emotional, she was trying her hardest to suckle.
I will try and post some pics in a min on my photos.
The labour was a shock to say the least!! at 8.15 i felt funny twinges and thought i had another water infection so at 8.45 stephen told me to go and lie down on the bed for abit, i went upstairs and my waters broke as i went to get on the bed but because i have been having accidents!! lately i though it might be that again, so i went to the toilet and it was all pink with blood and my contactions were coming every 2 mins so i phoned the labour ward and they told me to come in at that point i dont think any of us knew how far i really was into labour, my Father in law came and took us so that mother in law could stay with the kids and got there at 9.55, they tried to monitor me and i said to the midwife what are you doing i need to push and she didnt believe me! at 1st, she examined me and i was 10cm, all hell broke loose and i had mabel at 10.12! with no pain relief, they then broke emersons waters and i had him at 10.29, i cant believe i had no pain relief it bloomin hurt but it was over in a flash so i suppose thats a plus. at one point there was about 10 different people in the room all rushing round and i was the talk of the hospital after that!! i was also on a drip for hrs after and couldnt move just to make sure everything contacted back properly etc, so i got to see the twins about 5 in the morning.

*** class="comment">i have had a text from jue this morning, her twins arrived last night - she was very shocked as 32+6 and all happend very quick.. however they are ok as is she, mabel and emerson, both in special care at moment.. she said mabel ok, emerson on cpap, both doing really well.. not sure of weights but will let u know if hear any more!

Hi guys, had my 34th bday yesterday. Went to bingo with the girls, Had a great time, could only just get my bump under the table though, which they all thought was funny. We won as well which made the night even better, but come 9.30 I was so tired I had to go home, luckly we were only chatting in the car park. My bl@@dy hips are still keeping me awake at night, oh that and the constant need for the loo!!!
Hi Jue, got next scan on 29th of Oct and I will be 32 + 6. Cant wait.
Had my Glucose injection yesterday too and that went well. The lady who did it has had twins (about 3years ago now).It seems that everyone you speak to now has had or knows someone with twins. Does anyone know how common it is now??

I always forget what people have said on posts!!
sally i had the gtt test a few weeks ago, they do a blood test then you have to drink some horrible sugary drink then wait 2 hrs then have another blood test, i wasnt allowed to leave the hosp it is boring, mine came back ok, hope you get on well xx

Morning ladies,
I am so glad you have mentioned peeing kate!! at least you make it to the loo, i have to wear a pad!! TMI because i keep having accidents!!!!!! it is awful, i should have done more pelvic excercise when i had my other 2!!
Yhe monitoring went well got to go on wed and sat and my BP was fine aswell, the midwife said that sometimes the electrical BP machines can read higher and it is best to do it manualy, got monitoring again next week and midwife next thurs then scan next fri, its all systems go now isnt it?
Hope julie is ok, im sure i read on one of her posts once that when she leaves work she wouldnt be posting so often as she wouldnt have acess to the comp, then again she might have had her babies, they told her possibly by 24 weeks she would have them because they were big.
Are you ladies still at work, ive got my pj's on still, got to go and pull myself together, the man just came to read the meter it was embarassing!! DD had just gone to school all excited because zac efron was just on gmtv!!! high school musical mad.

Hi sally - hope u get on ok... is that the gtt Test?? have heard others having it done.. how u feeling?? I am really hungry at moment and think i am gonna goand get big bowl of coco pops before bed!!! jues monitroing was ok today..
Jue - hope u feeling ok.... i think one of mine right in pelvis too... really hurts when walk and cant stop peeing??? is this same kind of thing??? Hope u dont mind me sharing that all ok.....
Havent seen heard from Julie for ages.......... Hope she ok!

I hope your monitering went well today hon. Thinking of you mate. Keep us posted. Got to go in tomorrow and have a glucose test as mine is slightly high. Not looking forward to the fact that I cant eat as I have been eating loads lately lol. Hope everyone else is ok. X X

Hope you are all well, off to the hosp in abit to be monitored again got to go 3 times a week now but apparently in my hosp you have to go in 2 times a week anyway in the later stages like we are in now.
I am feeling so much pressure down below now and my bladder isnt good!!!!

Thanks for replying in my thread ladies i think they make you worry so much at the hosp!! been for monitoring this morn all ok, got to go on mon and wed and sat then a scan on the 17th to see if she has grown, i feel the same as you ladies now and not sleeping well at night, my bump is rock hard and braxton hicks are painful! will pm you with number, it could be anytime now ladies!! take care

Charlie - forgot to post here after mine.. your weights are pretty similar to mine... they didnt give ounzes, but said 3 and half and 3 and 3/4.. they have no concerns at all with the weights??? I spent ages with the registrar after (who was also preg due 7th november). And she said all was fine.. i was hoping they would be 4lb ish i must admit but it all seems ok.... try not to worry as they obv check everything at scan too and u get another in 2 weeks so at least they keep an eye on u! There is about 5/6 ounze difference between mine aparently too..
U know where we are if worrying... i know i am first time too so may not be much help but here anyway!! Am worlds worst panicker i reckon... Mine being quiet today but been active all week and it has gone like that since movement started but doesnt stop me worrying....
Life is a struggle now.... sooooooooooooo uncomfy.. spend all my time in bed, came home from work about 2 today and felt awful cos aches so much and just want to cry!!! All aches and pains are normal apparently so just one of those things.. am praying that babes are big enough to deliver at 38 weeks...
Hey - does anyone wanna exchange numbers to keep posted of when these babies arrive as i know i will be desperate to know how u all are!!! If u do send me a PM so we can keep in touch...

Hello everyone.
Glad to hear I am not the only one who seems to be struggling. Just to let you all know that i am a bit gutted after my 32 weeks growth scan. Twin one 3llb 4 and twin 2 3llb 10llb. The consulant said the weights were fine for gestation but twin one has not grown as much as previously and wants me back in in two weeks for a another scan. I am gutted as was really pleased with their weights at the 28 weeks scan and there was only 30grams different in their weights. I asked the consultant what will happen in two weeks if Twin one has not grown as he/she should have he said they would ommit me and that we would be having a conversation about deliverling them early.
I hope you girlies are taking it easy.

my mw didnt measure last time.. just said i was clearly bigger so not much point!!

My hips go numb in the night too, doctor told me its because one of mine is in the pelvis already. You are all so far ahead of me I am so jealous. I am finding it hard to walk now too, can only walk round town for 15 mins and my bump hurts, feels like it is tugging and as for the Braxton Hicks well they are getting tighter and tighter as the days go on. I am glad you 2 are ok and I hope the other girls are too. Cant wait to hear how much your little ones have grown at their growth scans. X X

Hi ladies,
I have got my 32 week growth scan on fri, cant wait! im finding it hard to sleep too, i have to keep turning cause my hips go numb and my bump is so sore, i bet these last weeks will really drag!!
I hope julie is ok, on her last post she said that they were big and would prob have them both by 34 weeks and i think she might be a week or so i front of me so i wonder if she has had them yet?
