Hi guys, Had scan today, twin 1 is weighting in at 4lb 10oz and twin 2 is 4lb. Cant believe the weights, thought it would be alot less that that (I know though that they are only estimates). Did not give me a date yet but I am only 33wks tomorrow. Said everything is good and he is happy with me and babies so got to wait till next scan in 4 weeks, thats if my belly will last that long. It looks like a road map at the moment. I looked on a forum yesterday and saw that there is a baby been born that is not due till Feb so we are doing really well. I just hope that baby is ok. Take care all of you and dont eat to much sweets on Halloween. Speak soon.X X X X

morning everyone.
kate - i had my scan on fri with the consultant and when i got up ff the bed i just said ok now lets discuss an end date and she said no problem. she said she only induces on a thursday and would rather i was started at 37 than 38 weeks because the babies are so big!!!! said i would be brought in on the thurs morning at 9am and waters broken straight away. she said she doesnt mess abot with gels etc
bit scared actually!!!only 15 days to go!!!!!
i was up half the night last night because i was convinced something was wrong as i couldnt feel any movement but then i got up and got my doppler out and checked!!!! thank goodness everything was ok! think your right about the more worry as time goes on!!
Jue - sounds like your having a time of it at night with your two but im sure you are loving evey minute of having then home!!
Charlie - hope your ok although maybe like me you have just not been online in a while!
not long now gilrs nd i really hope your scan goes well today although they may not talk about induction today they prob will at your next visit x

thanks for reply jue about movements.. does help! So glad your little ones are home with you now, despite the hard work... i think the lack of sleep having anyway, is not gonna make so much difference when they here.... and hopefully not be in pain/uncomfy anymore.... was awake til 3am in end last night after sleeping for 1.5hrs... drives me mad!!!
went for walk today with mum and dogs in hope the babies may get moving,,, just caused pain and exhaustion! Oh well.. am off to an aquarium tomorrow with sis, niece nephew and mum and carpets being laid here in lounge and stairs and landing so should come home to it all done and looking nice!
and my theory is to keep busy to help time pass quicker and encourage these girls to move!!

hi ladies, mabel and emerson are home now! they came home on fri at 2pm, it is lovely but very tired, get rest now girls!! ha ha. the nights are terrible! emerson is more laid back but mabel is very vocal and wants it now! they are on expressed breast milk and nutriprem2 which has supplements in for prem babies, think dh as had such a shock at how much hard work it is esp when crying at same time!

hello..
Just posted a thread about movmenets.. are any of you finding you worry more as time goes on??? I am driving myself mad!! And trying to work out movements all the time, wish i would just relax!
Julie - am so jealous you have your date!! really cant wait to have an end in sight!!!!! Did your consultant just give it to you or did you have to push for it?? See mine next tuesday so fingers crossed i get the date. Your children sound lovely bless them! My niece and nephew who are 2 and half keep saying 'still big tummy' when they see me, i dont know how they are gonna understand the babies in my tummy we have spoken about for so long are actually here and real... and hope they stop talking about bg tummy then too!!!! haha!
Sally - am trying to get out of bed more in the hope labour starts!!! haha! But it hurts doing anything very much so nesting very unlikely to happen.. thats your 32 week scan weds is it?? you never know they might give you a date?? Always worth asking as everywhere different!
Jue - so glad mabel and emerson are home now.. glad all is well with you and them and look forward to hearing more and more about them if you get time!! Wont be too long before all ours are here...

Kate Hi honey Hows you doing? Are you managing to get out of bed???
I dont know about you all but I am so heavy and low now, it is all starting to hurt. I dont think I am going to have a nesting stage as I cant even bend down to pick something up without pain. And sleep well I have totally given up on that. Well theres my moan for the day!!! Hows everyone else feeling?
I have got my scan on Wednesday so hopefully I should know more then about how much they weight??? Will they discuss my induction/c-section dates then or is it too early??? Take care girls. I will report back on Wednesday. X X X

morning girls. jue im so pleased your getting your babies home. still cant believe one of us had had them already!!! i seen consultant on fri and have been given an induction date of 13th NOV. i will be 37+4 so 19 days and counting
. she said i will be brought in at 9am waters broken and away i go!!! bit scary to be honest. the weight 6.1lbs and 5.4lbs so still good weights and the larger one (Boy) is coming first. his head is engaged and the girl isnt far behind so i will hopefully be able to have themboth naturally 
kate my eldest son is 5and a half and is a wee pet!!! when he sees me trying to get off the sofa he comes and rubs my back and is always talking to my belly as if he is really getting some answers fromt he babies its soooo cute!! my youngest pulls my and and counts 1...2...3... up when im struggling to get out of bed or off the chair!!! really hope they continue to be this good when the babies arrive!!!
i have carpel tunnel syndrome which is pains in my wrists which cause numbness of my hands and general swelling!!!! was given splints to wear on both hands which are ok for a while but restrict everything i do evern more !!!! the joys.
hope everyone is well and not getting too fed up!!!

hope you are all ok, just a quick one to say that im going into hosp tonight to stay on my own with the twins and then they are coming home tomorrow lunchtime, 13 days old, they both weigh 4lb 4oz and are doing well.

Wow Jue - that is such good news, i am so pleased they will be hone where they belong soon! Sounds like all is going well! Keep us updated with pics too! the 37 week scan should be my 36 week one.. am 36 weeks on saturday.. they will let me go to 38 weeks... although i am not convinced as my sis went to 40... who knows!
Sallyanne.. u dont know what u are having do u?? We ended up making list of names and will decide when they arrive and we see them! They all end in y or ie - seems to be a theme!! the boys names we had thought of were the same too.. alfie, harry, marley, riley... i know with the girls their middle names are going to be sue and may/mae.. i will be using all the drugs too!!!!!!!!
Charlie - good to hear from u and weights sound good! Hope u feel better now! My DH has been great too - couldnt havemanaged without him bless him! U all ready and prepared??
Julie - cant believe size of your two already!!!! I know your LO is 2 at moment, how old is the other one.. ? I can imagine how uncomfy u must be!
All ok here.. still in bed but planning to move in min and go to mothercare to get final few bits so everything ready.. sun is shining so have put some washing on too and plan to do some ironing as well.... my intentions dont always happen though!
Stretch marks now coming too.. did so well but appearing underneath now Oh well!

Hi ladies, just a quick post before i go to the hosp, hope you are all well, no more suprise births then?
The twins are doing really well, they have had their feeding tubes out now and they told me yest that they can come home at the end of this week or begining of next week all being well, i cant wait!

Hi guys. Just a quickie, I know Jue has but has anyone thought of any names yet? Me and dh have not got a clue, we dont know the sex of them either so I need 4 names really. I just said to him " we will know what to call them when they are born" but now I am panicking abit. Help!!! By the way, good to hear from you charlie. Sounds like they are doing well with their weights. X X

Sorry I have been really crap - Jue what lovely photos and thanks for taking the time to put them on here. I hope they are home with you soon.
I had my 34 week scan and both twins gained some good weight. Twin 1 - 4llb 1 and twin 2 4llb 5 so they are happy to leave me go until 38 weeks. I have my next appointment at week today and we will discuss dates. I am hoping for a C Section as twin 2 is breech and is the bigger twin but will have to wait and see.
How is everyone feeling -I am sooooooooooooo tired all the time and can;t sit for long without getting tighenings. Like Kate I take my hat off to you with Children as I don;t know if I could do it. I am going to be forever in debt to by DH as he really has been wonderful.

Hi guys. Ahh Jue I just saw the photos, mate they are lovely. You should be so proud. Cant believe the time is going so fast and every day they get that little bit stronger.
Julie, your babies are good weights. Hows everyone else?
I am feeling so tired now and I am so low down it puts pressure on everything else!!! I am so nervous now about the birth, I just hope thay have enough drugs for me LOL.

jue - your babies are absolutely gorgeous im sure your really proud. what weight are they now!! cant believe the difference in the two sets of pics. have they given you any idea how long they might be in for.
Have a scan on fri so will know what the weights are then. at the scan two weeks ago the boy was 5.4 and the girl 5 lbs. not sure how accurate they are mind you!!
34 weeks today and cant wait to meet them now. i am fed up being uncomfortable and everything being a struggle especialy running after the two boys.
really awful weather here today so think it wil be a day in front of the telly doing as little as possible!!!!

Hi ladies,
couldnt sleep so thought id come on to update, both doing really well, out of incubators now and feeding well, i have decided to express and bottle feed instead of express and breast because its so time consuming and with having the other 2 kids i feel like i would have no time for them, my ebm just gets put in a bottle and i know how much they are having, it is getting harder everyday to leave them and apparently they have found their voices!! i had to go and buy dummies because they are night babies and demanding feeds in the night by screaming the place down! the shape of things to come haha!!
Have put some pics on of when they were 8 days old, cant believe they are 12 days old.
Kate you said your scan was at 37 wks.. how fay are they letting you go? are you about 36 wks now? hope you got to sleep ok last night, i needed a sleep in the day but didnt like to because i found it hard to sleep at night too.
Julie, chalie and sallyanne hope you are all ok, Julie.... i bet your babies are big now!

Evening ladies... am awake so late.. but came to bed at half 4 exhasuted so think thats why i am awake again!
Jue - think pics must have worked as i saw some new ones from ur DIN post too.. so lovely, how are they doing, have they said when u might get them home? How are u feeling yourself?
JUlie - as i have said - no idea how u cope with kids already.. i have said that throughout this pregnancy to other people as i dont know how i could do it, what with constant throwing up for first few months and now soooooo exhasuted and uncomfy..h..! However it will be worht it in the end and we are so close now!
Sallyanne - how u feeling? My next scan is 4th nov, will be 37 weeks so as long as good size i am hoping we will have discussion of gettin them out the following week!! Work was good, i asked them not to do baby stuff til they arrived but they did a pamper box of stuff for me and then a lunch as well which was mainly junk food.. which i am known for loving! Has been lovely not going to work!!! Could get used to it!

glad all ok with scan sally - great weights!!! i saw that feb baby too.. cant believe it! And yes we are all doing well and so nearly there now...!
julie - your consultant sounds ideal.. i think if i get a date i will be scared but also just want something to look forward too.. i will try your tack and see how i get on.... i was convinced something was gonna happen last night.. however this was because we had sudden downpour of snow so roads a nightmare, plus all furniture in kitchen due to carpets coming so dog unsettled so thought it would be typical... but OH NO they still here...!!
I hate to moan really as know its better longer they stay in but soooo fed up of pain and discmfort now and cant believe how much it is dragging......................
sally - just noticed your xmas tree added.. are you getting in festive spirit???
what are you guys planning on getting twins for xmas if anything?? i cant not get anything but what as they wont have a clue obv...
