Charlie - forgot to post here after mine.. your weights are pretty similar to mine... they didnt give ounzes, but said 3 and half and 3 and 3/4.. they have no concerns at all with the weights??? I spent ages with the registrar after (who was also preg due 7th november). And she said all was fine.. i was hoping they would be 4lb ish i must admit but it all seems ok.... try not to worry as they obv check everything at scan too and u get another in 2 weeks so at least they keep an eye on u! There is about 5/6 ounze difference between mine aparently too..
U know where we are if worrying... i know i am first time too so may not be much help but here anyway!! Am worlds worst panicker i reckon... Mine being quiet today but been active all week and it has gone like that since movement started but doesnt stop me worrying....
Life is a struggle now.... sooooooooooooo uncomfy.. spend all my time in bed, came home from work about 2 today and felt awful cos aches so much and just want to cry!!! All aches and pains are normal apparently so just one of those things.. am praying that babes are big enough to deliver at 38 weeks...
Hey - does anyone wanna exchange numbers to keep posted of when these babies arrive as i know i will be desperate to know how u all are!!! If u do send me a PM so we can keep in touch...

Hello everyone.
Glad to hear I am not the only one who seems to be struggling. Just to let you all know that i am a bit gutted after my 32 weeks growth scan. Twin one 3llb 4 and twin 2 3llb 10llb. The consulant said the weights were fine for gestation but twin one has not grown as much as previously and wants me back in in two weeks for a another scan. I am gutted as was really pleased with their weights at the 28 weeks scan and there was only 30grams different in their weights. I asked the consultant what will happen in two weeks if Twin one has not grown as he/she should have he said they would ommit me and that we would be having a conversation about deliverling them early.
I hope you girlies are taking it easy.

sallyanne... ur not too far behind... and u have scan this week too dont u?? i dont know how u guys are coping with children already... i just dont think i could at all!!
my mw didnt measure last time.. just said i was clearly bigger so not much point!!

My hips go numb in the night too, doctor told me its because one of mine is in the pelvis already. You are all so far ahead of me I am so jealous. I am finding it hard to walk now too, can only walk round town for 15 mins and my bump hurts, feels like it is tugging and as for the Braxton Hicks well they are getting tighter and tighter as the days go on. I am glad you 2 are ok and I hope the other girls are too. Cant wait to hear how much your little ones have grown at their growth scans. X X

Hi ladies,
I have got my 32 week growth scan on fri, cant wait! im finding it hard to sleep too, i have to keep turning cause my hips go numb and my bump is so sore, i bet these last weeks will really drag!!
I hope julie is ok, on her last post she said that they were big and would prob have them both by 34 weeks and i think she might be a week or so i front of me so i wonder if she has had them yet?

Must admit been very bad at posting, i am very uncomfortable now though but bought a laptop at weekend so can use it in bed so hoping i will get better...! Am finishing work on 10th Oct so not long now..... thank goodness! when anyone finishing??
Have 32 week growth scan tomorrow so am hoping all will be fine! They have been pretty active lately, then quieter last night and this morn so far.. i really need to remind myself that they do have quiet days as start worrying otherwise!
Felt like crying sat night.. was up for a few hours in pain.. couldnt get up cos bump hurt so much when moving it was horrid! and then when i get up i have pain down my hips, and then during the day have pain in my pelvis when walking..
Charlie - seen ur thread about c sec or natural.. my sis had twins who are now 2 and half.. and i cant get thought out of my head that she had lottie naturally, then after 1.5 hrs of trying to have Finlay they couldnt so she had section anyway... and i cant stop thinking i dont wanna have both!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But equally if it happened naturally recovery would be better.. then section would have a date planned and hopefully early.... So really am no help at all!!! I dont know if i get option at all..
How is everyone else doing??

Hi girlys, thought Id just say hi as we are going to lose our thread on the next page. Well had funeral, I only went to the bit afterwards as could not handle seeing my Nan and Dad upset. It was actually quite nice as I saw family I had not seen for ages (years even) and my Nan and Dad seemed to be having a good time (if thats the right thing to say). I saw midwife on Thursday, had my bloods and AntiD injection and heard babies heart beats (which I always find reasurring) she measured my tummy and I am measuring at 39 weeks, no wonder everything is aching now. Got my next growth scan on Wednesday so I will report back then. By the way I have been having braxton hicks for weeks now but they seem to be getting closer and lasting longer, Is this normal?? I do hope you are all well as we all seem to be busy but we are naughty because we should be taking it easy now. Take care. X X X

Hi ladies,
Havent been on for ages! dh was off last week and we spent the week trying to get bedroom sorted etc but im so tired when i do anything it seems like such a big deal!
Had to go to the hosp last mon and be monitored because of a bad uti they thought i had gone into labour because of the pain and the doc gave me an internal ( the midwife was not pleased) but feel better now with stronger painkillers and antibiotics. then yeaterday i went to walk to the shops and fell on my bump it really shook me up, but both babies are moving lots.
I still cant believe how big your babies are already julie! ive got a scan next fri, cant wait, does anyone else know how big theres are?
Hope you are all feeling well ladies other than the leg cramps, heartburn, bad backs, lack of sleep etc!! not long now, cant wait, im so excited, then the fun really starts!! even more lack of sleep, ha.ha.

How is everyone feeling?? I am tired, back ache, heart burn, leg cramps... etc etc!! Have arrnaged to finish work on 10th Oct.. 3 weeks leave then maternity starts 3rd nov.. wanted to go for longer but so uncomfortable decided against it!!
Charlie - how scary that must have been - is all ok now??!
Julie - cant belive siize of your babies already!! Wow! Think its great they do the steriod injections for everyone!

Bit scary that twins arrived from DIN too at 32 weeks.. although think they are doing well last heard!

Hi guys, Thank you all for your kind words. Julie, I cant believe your babies are averaging that big already, no wonder you feel rough!!! I am still quite far behind you lot, My next scan is on the 1st October so we shall see how much mine have grown, I feel like they are 10 lbs (lol) already. Not much to report really, I see on DIN that 2 babies have already been born, scary to think that anyone of us could have them soon. I am really not sure which changing bag to get as we are going to need a big one, any advice??? Well take care guys and enjoy the sunshine (while it lasts). X X X 26 + 2 wks

hi everyone. Had my steroids on thurs and consultant on fri for scan and more steroids. my iron levels are very low which is why i have been so exhausted!! also have protein in my urine which has been sent away for tests. they have put me off work which is fantastic and have said because babies are 4 lbs each already i will prob not go longer than 34 weeks so thats my target anything after that is a bonus for the babies. Nearly fell off the chair when he told me the weights and thats before i had my steroids ( which by the way are really sore) just hoping the urine comes back ok although they wrote protein +++ whatever that means! have to be seen wekly from now on becasue of my low iron levels and the diiness i have been feeling so thats reasuring for me and the babies! can not believe i am finished work
we are on the home straight now gilirs!!! im scared.Also they are both head down and shouldnt move too much from now on in!
sorry if m rambling a bit

i think by the sounds of it we are all feeling it now, i have been having regular braxton hicks and they have been quite painful the consultant said that it happens because its twins!
Hope you are feeling better now charlie, what a worry, bet you were scared, they dont give steriod injections at my hosp, but i think its a good idea incase they were to come early.
Sallyanne, hope you are ok, sorry to hear your bad news, take care xx

sorry to hear about your lose sally anne. its never easy especially when your hormones are up the left.
charlie sounds like you have had a time of it. i have been having braxton hicks on and off for a few weeks now my tummy just get sooooo tight then releases again.
i have to go to hospital tomorrow for my first steroids iinjectiona dn then my second on fri along with a scan. its standard with multiple pregnancies in my hospital to have steroids at 28 weeks which im glad about. it gives them a bit more of a chance if anything was to happen!!!
ready to go off work now to be honest i am just so tired and sore after woking a long day and having to go home and deal with the boys and the housework!! its getting tough. also been having quite a few dizzy spells where i have to sit down or fall down think its either my iron levels or low blood pressure but will get it all checked out over the next few days.
hang in there girls we are on the home straight now

Sallyanne I am really sorry about your Uncle and wishing your Grandad well.
Just to let you know girlies I was pulled into hopsital last week, I went in with what I thought was a chest infection (luckily it wasn;t) but was rigged up to the monitor which showed I was contracting....yikes!!!! The doctor asked me if I could feel them and I was like yes I thought it was braxton hicks and when it was painful I though it was one of the babies dancing on my ribs. They weren't strong, the first night I was in they were around 35 and the next morning they got to 45 I think in full blown labour it goes to 100. They were just concerned at the regularity of them they were coming 3 in 10 mins.
I was given steriods and a patch to stop them which they did and am now at home (well at my Mums as DH works during the day). I have been signed of work for the next two weeks and am taking it easy.
As much as I can;t wait to see my babies its a bit early yet.

Ah Sallyanne, sorry to hear that news.. fingers crossed for your grandad.. hope u are doing as ok as u can be right now. Not suprised u havent felt like chatting..
Glad ur growth scan was ok though.. very reassuring isnt it! And i love the shopping.. i seem to go a bit mad after a scan with the spending as feel confident all is well! Our friends are getting the bouncers for us too.. its amazing how generoous people are.. i have started list of what gifts we have been given so i dont forget the thank u's!
Interesting about dead legs.. i have been getting this every night and driving me mad.. didnt know this was reason!!
Sorry about pelvis jue.. have u seen doc about it?? Some of the threads i read about SPD are very scary though! No more work then.. lovely.. i reckon i am gonna aim to leave on 10th oct.. meeting boss on monday so gonna discuss then.. she is really good though so am sure it will be fine, i have been doing less hours for a while now too which helps!
Have u all been to ASDA.. they got baby event with lots of bits on sale.. johnsons boxes, clothes, nappies, stair gates, high chairs.. def worth a look i reckon!

Hi guys. Not doing good at mo, lost my uncle on sunday due to total organ failure as he was too over weight and did not excercise, my grandad is 90 and is in hospital with heart attack but he is a fighter so fingers crossed. So as you can tell not really been up for chatting!!! Had my 24 week growth scan though on wednesday and both bubs are doing fine, twin 1 is 1lb 10 oz and twin 2 is 1 lb and 8 oz. Both are head down and very low which is why I am finding it hard to sleep on my right side as I keep getting dead legs in the night. Just been shopping with my mates today and got loads of baby stuff, they brought my bouncers for me (bless them). Hope you all are doing ok. XXXXX

hi ladies hope you are all ok, we have been abit quiet on here just lately,
I had my 28 week scan on fri and both are still head down, little boy is 2lb 9 and girl is 2lb7, both doing well, i have got a week off this week then i start my mat leave next week, i couldnt stand all day any longer!
Got to go for a gtt test on wed as i have had sugar in my wee! dreadind it, its the waiting around for 2 hrs.
Have just had my buggy delivered, the silvercross pop duo with cosytoes it is going to my mil later.
Not long now ladies although the consultant did say that if i went over 37 weeks and i was ok they would leave me alone!!
Is anyone else struggling with pelvic pain, if i walk far or turn over in bed its agony, i havent had this before and feel sorry for the ladies that have it bad!

A quickie also as am soooo tired at moment and not feeling marvellous!
Had 28 week growth scan today too.. all fine, both measuring 28 weeks and no probs so thats all that matters to me!! They are top and tail at mo..! I saw one of consultants team as well but all seems fine so can relax...
But ... heartburn worse than ever and have crampy feeling in legs and back ache which was told all normal... and still need loo every 2 hrs during night so really tired!!!!!!!!!

Just a quick note to let you know that I had my 28week growth scan today. All is fine, both weights estimated at 2llb 12 which i believe is fine.
Both head down - didn't see my consultant but someone in his team. He was a bit shocked that i mentioned c-section!?!?!?!?! Is my consultant that was pro c section for twins and now I am very confused.
