Hi girlies
Hope you are all well? Defo feeling large and proud!!! Julie- I too have been feeling dizzy from time to time but my blood pressure has been fairly low whlst I have been pregnant.
Got my 28 week scan tomorrow so I will post after.
Has anyone thought about when and what to pack in your hospital bag.
Kate - we have decided on the out and about nipper to.

hi girls sorry i havent been onin a while. was off work this week and not online much. Really enjoyed being off with the boys and cant wait until my mat leave starts!!!
I cant decide wether to buy a new car seat or not. i have been given a nearly new one from a cousin which will be fine for one of the twins but the other one i have is a bit worn and i feel bad that one will have a decent one and the other not so decent
does that sound silly??? i have seen one in boots online which is half price down to £50 but cant decide if its a wast because they dont last them that long!!!Also cant decide what monitor to get the reviews for the BT 100 and 150 are really good but do i really need a room temp control??? decisions decisions!!
anyway apart from that i feel massive and extremely unconfortable at times. also been having a few light heads which my mum thinks may be due to lack of iron so im going to go and get my bloods done next week and see what the say.
better go and get dressed

Hi ladies, hope you are all ok, ive got a week off so its lovely! i dont know about you ladies but now im getting bigger im feeling really tired, everything is such an effort! shouldnt moan though it wont be long now will it, i think full term for twins in my hosp is 37 weeks so in 10 weeks i could be going in to be started, if they havent come by then, its so exciting i cant wait.
I have had my car seats delivered this morn they are silvercross ventura plus and they are lovely and padded with a hood and apron and the apron is fleecy to keep the little ones warm.
Ds has gone to drayton manor today with his friends so its just me dd and the 2 dogs today, think we are playing cards in a min so better go!

How are you all?? Just a quickie as off to bed to say hope u all enjoying bank holiday weekend!
I got the out n about nipper 360 yesterday (well it arrived yesterday!) and it looks fab!!! Really pleased with it.. and it was 20% off at boots online.. even better... came in three days?!
Had 2nd 4d scan yesterday as last week they werent cooperating - they still werent really but at least i know they ok!
Been sick again tonight?????

glad to hear your all well apart form heartburn, sore back and water infections
i have the heartburn and sore back but managed to avoid the water infections this time. with my first i had one every couple of months it was awful.Kate a friend in work had her 4d scan last night and it looks amazing i would love one sooooo much but they cost 240 here and i really couldnt afford it with everything else we have to buy!!!

Hello ladies,
Hope you are all feeling well, got another water infec at the min but feel abit better today, got to see the midwife tomorrow and get it checked again because i also had sugar in my wee, it is only the 2nd time i will have seen her!
Is anyone else having quite strong braxton hicks? they are really uncomfortable, i have got a big bottle of peptac from the doctor for heartburn, kate, it is their version of gaviscon and for that size bottle in the chemist it is £8!! the doc has put it on repeat prescription bless him, we had a chinese on friday night and when i went to bed my heartburn was terrible but the stuff gets rid of it straight away, its horrible though haha.
I find that when im on my feet all day at work the twins dont seem to move about so much but at night they really liven up will be 26 weeks tomorrow, its gone quite fast hasnt it?
Anyway better go and start the tea for the kids, take care ladies xx

I know we are all quiet in here.. keep meaning to post!
Had a break away in devon last week which was nice, although gave a good idea of future as my sis and her 2 yr old twins were there............. very lively!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha!
Have been feeling them move lots now which is nice, however they are quiet today so am desperate to get home and lie down as this is usually when they start.. otherwise i end up getting paranoid! Do others have quieter days??
Had 4d scan on Saturday, however one squashing the other so am back again sat as only got pics of one, will upload the pics on saturday so u can see!
back ache and heartburn getting worse............... and TIRED!!!

hi girls. we have all gone very quiet. how is everyone? i am just having a crap week with work and my youngest son has the cold so isnt sleeping well and i have been up with him so im exhausted.
We also got our car ruined in the floods at the weekend. My husbands BMW was almost washed away and the engine and inside electrics are unfixable so it will be a write off!!!! typical especially since we spent a fortune at the weekend getting everything for the twins.
My eldest son starts P2 next wed and had to get his uniform sorted last week started to panic thinking what will it be like buying 4 of everything

Hi guys. How is everyone??? Time flies. I cant believe the kids have only got 3 weeks left till they go back to school. I feel really bad as I have not done much with my son this year, mind you he has been away with his dad and seems to be quite happy. Well brought a lovely pine tall boy today from a car boot sale for £45.00 for the twins. Cant get the bl##dy thing up the stairs though because the wall is to wide. So we have decided to put it in the front room as that is where the babies will be spending most of their time getting changed. It looks good though as all my furniture is pine in the front room. Feeling heavy and the babies move around so much now, its funny feeling them. I cant wait for my 24 week scan which is not till 3rd Sept then we can compare weights. Hope you are all feeling ok girls. X X

julie and charlie, your babies are good weights are you getting big now, i am and it hurts to walk, i feel like i waddle haha!!
i held a baby girl last night and she was born at 29 weeks but is home now(38weeks) and is 6lb but she is so tiny it was scary! her little fingers were so little i cant remember minr being like that! there is every chance that the twins will be though, i cant wait to see them and hold them.
Has anybody brought anything yet? i am going to pack my hosp bag in a few weeks, just in case because dh wont know what to pack if anything happened!! im sure i will go the full term though and be massive!

Hi girls, I'm back. My sisterand family have gone home
it was so lovely to see them all and catch up.Glad to hear your scan went well Julie, I had a 3d scan while my sister was over and I was 24 plus 6 and the estimated weights were Twin 1- 707 grams (1lb 9) and Twin 2 grams 741 grams (1lb 10).
How is everyone feeling?? I am generally feeling really well but have started to feel really really tight round my tummy and I feel such a wimp as I know how much bigger my belly is going to get but just can;t imagine it at the moment. I really feel like I am going to pop! I really shouldn;t moan as I want the babies to grow really big and be good weights.
Feeling loads of movement which is lovely.

well girls had my scan today and both babies are fine!! def a boy and a girl so im relieved and can now go shopping!!!!! one weighs 749 grams and the other 710 which i think is just over a pound which im pleased about.
the consultant scared me a bit about the birth though. at the min they are 1 head down and 1 breech and she said thats the way she likes them cause when twin one arrives which is the head down one it makes the way for twin 2 and becuase she is breech she preferes it as a leg is easier to pull than a head!!!!!!!! i just looked at her thinking are you for real here! but she was deadly serious. fingers crossed they move to both head down so she isnt pulling anything.

I know im really excited about ti and i have a list of question si want to ask the consultant so hope she has plenty of time
dying to know what weight they are too so hoping they can tell me. hard to believe we are almost there now. i will hopefully be started in 11 weeks so fingers crossed they dont change their mind.i have one of those long pillows but not really keen on it cause everytime i turn its a complete orperation :8 and dp gets wakened everytime!!
anyway hope you are all well and hope the 3d scan went well kate. better go do some work.

morning ladies,
good luck kate for your 4d scan, have you had it yet and julie for fri, you will be amazed how big they have grown!!
Ds and dd back from their hols now both brown, i missed them so much, got loads of washing to do and its dark and rainy here!
Went and brough one of those long pillows at the weekend, hardly ant room in the bed for dh with me and my pillows.
Got 2 weeks at work then a week off then a week back then week off then leave!! will be 30 weeks but i dont think i could stay any longer on my feet all day.

Glad she didnt measure my fundal height yest, dread to think!! prob will next time though.
been to buy the cotbed today from mothercare, we are going to try co sleeping at 1st and have brought the jamestown in natural, the cot sheets etc are alot cheaper in mattalan aswell.
its a rainy day here hope its nice where you all are, take care xx

thats great news they are good weights too i think. heard they should be around the 1lb mark at this stage so yours 2 are on target. i have my 24 week scan on fri and am really excited. my mum is coming with me to this one and hopefully they will confirm the sex as i have been holding off buying anything until after the scan!!! its been hard to resist
i was at the midwife on thur for my back pain and have been referred to a physio to be fitted with a corset!!!!
she also measured the height of my fundus and i am measuring 31 weeks 
i am only 24 so asked how big will i be in a few weeks and she just said mmmmmmm BIG!!!! 
no wonder we are so uncomfortable although looking at lubi 22's babies it is going to be soooooo worth it they are gorgeous!!hope you all have a good weekend xx

Do have 4d one next week though so excited for that!
Saw GP this morning and he happy with everything, but have trace of blood in urine so sent off sasmple and gotta do blood tests, he wasnt concerned so nor am i!! Heard both heartbeats though so know they are ok!
Yes is uncomfortable now.. cant imagine how will feel in a few weeks time!

Morning ladies,
Had my 24 weeks scan this morning, it was lovely, little boy was lying on my left head down and little girl on the right head down, def boy/girl!! he was lying with legs open again! and is 1lb 8 and she is 1lb 6 the midwife said he has a fat little belly.
Hope you ladies are feeling well, its getting abit uncomfortable now isnt it but it will be worth it.
got to go to work now take care ladies xxx

Hi guys, how are you all? Well I am so glad I am not the only one feeling tired and uncomftable. Got back ache now and then, Get cramps in the my left leg at night (not sleeping too well either), leaky boobs and just generaly crap. Listen to me, bearer of bad news, apart from that though I am doing ok lol. I have ordered my pram too, Graco duo. My mate who has twins has it and I tested it in my car boot, getting in my back door etc... and I love it, so does she. Went out last night for a mates Bday and there were 2 preg ladies there, 1 was 20 weeks and 1 was 32 weeks, I am bigger than the 1 who is 32 weeks. but felt good as she has put alot of weight on and so far (touching wood) I have only got a tidy bump. Hospital bag, well, I thought I should start soon but I dont want to tempt fate, I will start getting bits for it though. Got my 24 week growth scan on wednesday so I will report back then. Will be 24+6 then. Take care girls. X X X
