They look good, never really heard of them before. I didnt really have this problem with my girls for the first 6 weeks of their life they just ate and slept or just laid there. But have you tried once youve fed them to lay them straight back down, this will get them used to not been cuddled etc. Or you could try swaddling them in the cot and see if that helps, that way they will still feel secure. Do you have moses baskets? This might make them feel more secure than a big cot but then again i stopped using my moses baskets at 7 weeks old so pretty much a waste of money. But i think youll just have to let them get used to been laid by themselves or next to each other. I dont think i was much help there sorry x

Hi I don;t know how much help I am going to be as I don;t have any children but check out www.amby.co.uk - 'natures nests'. I am going to try these with my twins. I know someone who uses them and says they are fab.
Good luckxx

Hi my twins are 9wks having been born 6wks early they spent 2 1/2 wks in special care.
Problem is that they will not sleep in their cot. During the day they happily snooze aaway in my bed surrounded by pillows, and seem to prefer to sleep on their side or tummy( ionly let them if i am in the room with them). But at night they only want to sleep in bed preferably oin Dp chest or mine or in our arms. Its driving me nuts because even though they fgeed constantly from 1- 4;30 i don’t want them to get into the habbit where in another year they are still in bed with us. at most they will dop around 1 1/2 hrs in the cot.

thanks, i lay them down after each feed but it seems like five minutes later they are up and they wriggle too much to be swaddled. They do seem to like sleping close too each other , but the only thing with that is they start trying to eat each other.
