Hi im 12+2 with my first and not got my scan til next tues.  by week 6 i was having to unbutton my pants and by week 9 i was in maternity clothes - i have a huge belly already and wondering if it could be twins???

what are the chances?

hi all i can say is that i didnt have many pregnacy syptoms but my mother had a vivid dream that it was triplets and when i went to tell her i was pg again she said she all ready knew and told me about dream i said dont think so but when i went for my dating scan at 11 weeks oh boy what a shock there was 2.

I was just like miss pixie, i tested positive on the day a/f was due and had felt sick for a week before that, i felt awful! i was bloated and tired but before i got my bfp i put it down to coming off the pill after being on it for so long, i had a bleed at 7 weeks and went to the docs, thought id lost the baby and had a scan 5 days later which revealed non id twins!! it was the last thing i expected too!! we went in there expecting the worst!! i felt rough for the 1st 13 weeks but other than that so far i havent been too bad just bad back aches and pains and heartburn so far!! also very early on i had lots of period like pains.

I felt like something was wrong/different as i felt sick and my cothes felt tight so soon conmpared with DD. I then had a bleed and assumed that my feelings were right and that something was wrong hence why i was mc'ing. I then had a scan at EPU and there wer 2 in there with HB. i was gobsmacked and had never in million years though i'd have twins. Now i realise that that was why i felt different!

 I've had two twin pregnancy's and a single one and the only differences i noticed were that the morning sickness was worse and kicked in earlier, i was feeling sick all the time, the smell of cigarette smoke made me gag (but didn't bother me with my single pregnancy). With my last twin pregnancy i started bleeding slightly at about 6 wks which went on for several wks on and off ( which i've heard is quite common). Didn't know i was havin twins before scan or have any wierd dreams but with my last pregnancy i had a feeling that something was wrong just before i started bleeding?!

That's probably not gonna be any help to you! but if you're really concerned you could try speaking to midwife/doc about it, they might get you an early scan?

i'm not a 1st time mum, and i know the feeling of 24 hr sickness, tiredness etc...

but did any 1 who is expecting twins feel different in anyway...???

since having had vivid dreams about being pregnant come true 2x, 1ce in 2006 and now i'm 5wks, and my partner telling me he had dreamed 3wks ago i was expecting twins, i am just wondering if there are any signs....

i've been extremely tired, and i am up 3x a night already on the verge of wetting myself..... i keep getting leg cramps which i normally get but much later.....

i'm spooked by our dreams as they keep coming true.......... only a scan will tell me for sure..... but i'm impatient to know if hubbys dream is right....!!!!!
