Thanks for that! Its interesting to think that mums may have experience of their twins before they were even conceived! There's just nothing on line about it..
I am due af on weds but promised myself not to test until next saturday!!!! Feels like forever but never expected to have symptoms like this either! I tested early with the bean I lost (I think i begun testing at 6dpo that month lol) and ended up getting constant bfn's and then had to see 3 bfp's before i believed, so rather than have any negative feelings, i'm suppressing my poas tendencies.... it's also more romantic when it's unknown, before the plans begin..
Good luck xxx

Can't say much about what normal period felt like but I new I was pregnant when I was 3 weeks and 2 days, so a whole five days before AF was due. Did test at 3 wks 3 days and went to Dr at 4 weeks 1 day and as I was soooooo tired she asked if there were twins in my family (my Mum is a twin) so you never know.
Actually now I think about it I did feel like something more was happening around the time of ovulation but didn't think to much about it until now.
I was 35 when conceived not long before 36th birthday and had only come off the pill about 2 months before so very fertile!!
Good Luck hun.
P.S. Have you done a test yet as it should work even this early!!??
I have non ID boys who are now 6 1/2 months old and it's great being a twin Mum

Hi ladies, I'm gatecrashing from ttcalb...
I just wondered if any of you felt your ovulation the month you got your bfp??? I usually feel it and it goes from middle cramps to stabbing on the side of the releasing ovary then back to cramps. This month (the month I fall pg again after mc) I felt it as usual but the stabbing began on the left side, stopped after several hours then started again on the right side and continued there for half the night before returning to cramping. I can only assume i ovulated twice...
I am not even due af for 2 days yet but have been nauseus every afternoon for a week, sick daily for 3 days, just begun horrible indigestion, need a bigger bra and am sleeping for England! I'm 36 and heard that multiples increase with age...help? any experiences would be greatly appreciated!!!!?
BTW I have ds who's 2 and although i felt sea-sick with him, it wasn't until 6 weeks and other symptoms were milder too! The bean I lost i had almost no symptoms except fabulous (.)(.) lol x

hey, well first of all good luck. This sounds weird but i knew straight away i was having twins, i could just feel it. I already have two children and this felt totaly different. I found out when i was seven weeks pregnant tests kept coming up neg and i had my period.
I put on half a stone in about two weeks was bloated and felt sea sick all the time.
I think people can feel the difference between havein one baby and having two.
