                i had twins at  33+5. they were id boys. one weighed 3lb14oz and the other weighed 4lb5oz. They have both lost a little bit of  weight but i am sure theywill put it back on. Both twins ae doing wel they are 7 days old 2day.

i had my twins at 34 and half weeks old they are totally different ones walking and other one isnt but the smallest one is the one thats seems advanced they weighed 4.6 and 5.1 and now they are 19 months old would like to chat to any 1 with twins if any1 wnats to

wow louise! those r amazing weights! mine didnt reach 6lb till 5 weeks n 4 days old n they were born at the same gestation!!

I had my twins at 34+1. Shay was born forst weighing 6lb 3oz and spent 4 days in n/natal with wet lungs and his weight dropped to 5lb 6oz.. Izzy was born weighing 5lb 1oz and dropped to 4lb 12oz, both were tube fed for around 1 week. Izzy didnt need any special care and we had 13 days in hospital with them in total.

They are both doing extremly well now, at 17 wks Shay weighs 13lb 3oz and Izzy 10lb 3oz.

mine did try n mave a few early arrivals b4 coming at 34+1 weighing 4lb 6oz n 4lb 3oz n spent 15 days in scbu n if it wasnt for the fact they r 4-5 lb smaller than the average baby of their age u wouldnt no they were prem cz they r developing very well

33 weeks and 3 days and were 4lb and 4lb6oz. They were in hosp for 4 weeks but thats cos Ry got a cold (in scbu????) and Sophs went purple when she was feeding (got fed on her side for a month after she came home then was fine). Now they are nearly 23 months and are happy and healthy so dont worry they will be ok.

I had my non id twin boys at 31wks + 5. Oliver the eldest weighed 3lb 8oz & Joshua weighed 3lb 10oz, very good weights for twin babies born at 31wks. They spent 39 days in SCBU, progress was always good & they were never seriously ill. Boys are almost 10mths now & although they are not doing what a 10mth old should they are progressing well .

Try not to worry about going into prem labour, I know a few people that have had there twins early & all has been ok

Hi,i had my identical twin girls at 31+6 last year, one of my girls who was 4lbs spent first week in icu then remainder in scbu and came home around 4 wks after she was born, and my other girl was born weighing 2lbs and stayed in icu for around 4 wks and then in scbu for 2 wks so came home after 6 wks, both are 17months old now and are absolutly fine,   try not to worry, babies are amazing little fighters and as doctors said to me once you reach the 32 wks mark they are generally born without problems hth xxx

Hi. I know how worried you must be. I was the same. I had my idential boys at 33 weeks. They were 3lb 10oz and 3lb 9oz. Both have done brilliantly. They were in Special Care for just over 3 weeks. Oliver had a little bit of oxygen for a few days. Mitchell was fine. They are both very healthy and are now 8 weeks. They weigh 8lb 7 and 8lb 4. Please dont worry about them, I am sure they will be fine now. Best of luck with everything

I had my non id twins sx years ago..They were born @ 33 wks..My son had grunting due to wet lungs but was a healthy 5lbs and my daughter weighed 3lbs had to be tube fed until she learnt how to feed..They are healthy six year old now doing the normal everyday things six year old do.....My neice has just had a daughter born @ 32 weeks also weighing 3lbs and is healthy,no probs other than jaudence which must babies have..She had a bit of light treatment but is fine...Hope that helps.

HI IM 31+5 WITH NON ID TWIN GIRLS I KNOW IT SOUNDS DAFT BUT AT THE MOMENT IM FEELIN REALLY ANXIOUS ABT HAVIN THE BABIES NOW.HAS ANYONE AD THERE TWINS AT AROUND 32 WEEKS AND WERE THEY OK WEIGHTS THE HOSPITAL SAYS THEY ARE GOOD SIZE BABIES SO I KNOW THERES PROBABLY NOTHIN TO WORRY ABT BUT IM LIKE A COMPLETE NERVOUS WRECK AT THE MOMENT IS THIS NORMAL OR IS IT JUST ME
