Thanks both of you this all really helps. I think I will go and get it checked out as it is showing no signs of getting better and i don't fancy letting it get worse. If its that easy to keep under control then i would be a fool to suffer unnecessarily. Thanks for giving me the push to do something about it I think I would have sat and suffered in silence otherwise. Hope you don't have too much trouble with it this time at least you know the signs and can act early. xxx

The lower pelvic pains sounds like what I had which is called SPD - I got it really late in my first pregnancy and ended up going to the physio and she gave me a special belt to where and sold me a birthing/exercise ball to sit on as it is better to sit on than sofa as u can only sit on it one way which is the "right" way to sit.  It all helped and as soon as I had the baby it went away.  Only problem is I am 14 weeks preggers with twins and feel like it has started already- am off to see the physio next week.  Midwife did say yesterday that it could be temporary and not get down about it as it may not last the duration of the pregnancy as it is all about hormones causing your body to overreact or underreact.

Anyway, enough waffling - hope this helps! xx

Hiya, Just wondering if anyone can help. I'm not sure if i should see GP and want to know if this is common. I have bad siatica (trapped nerve in my back) and wondered if this is likely to go by itself or if its for the duration of the pregnancy or if it can be sorted out. Someone said it could just be how the twins are lying? I have also started to get bad groin pain under my bump and in my pelvis is this all related as twins are heavy or is it something I should worry about. I am only 15weeks+4days and have a long way to go yet and don't want to suffer unnecessarily or for it to get worse. Is this common in twin pregnancy or am I fussing about nothing? I do get big in pregnancy anyway my boys were 9 lb and I am small build so i expect some aches and pains to be exaggerated with twins but not this early. I never had this with my other 2 pregnancies could someone put my mind at rest?
