I had 2 chiccos ones I bought from another twin mum, they folded quite well but to be honest I had them out most of the time.  The had different positions and they seemed to find them comfy to sleep in as they lay back.  They did really well they made the rounds through 5 sets of twins as I passed them on to a friend etc etc

Hi ya, I bought 2 Graco Contempo Ginger Snap high chairs. I also have lack of space as have 4 boys now. My twins are 6 months and not sitting but have used the high chairs since they were 4 1/2 months. They have 3 recline positions and fold slimmer than any other high chair. When they are folded they free stand so you dont have to lean them against anything. I bought them from an ebay shop called Precious little one, I got 2 for the price of one so bought 2 for £90 which I thought was a bargin. Babies sit nicely in them and they look really cool

I have to agree with the previous post, the Chicco Polly is expensive but I think worth every penny. Mine take nearly all their milk in their chairs now as they go back. They also didn't support themselves very well and they are very padded. we have a Picasso and can fit our double buggy and both high chairs in the boot when we go away = they fold up pretty small. Good luck with finding one x

it depends on your budget, i use chicco pollys, they have three position, lay (for wen they fall asleep), half sat up (for wen ur feeding them) sat up straight (so tht they can reach the food themselves or any toys on the tray). theres two layers to the tray, the bottom one is for stickin toys on the top bit is for the food to go on so you can lift it off wen it gets messy. the seat can be at differnt heights and the tray comes off so that you sit them at the table in it. theres also two seat covers one for wen there small, the other, obviously, for wen there bigger. finally they fold reasonably small.

My twins are 15 months and we purchased the Graco Contempo.  They both have removable trays and fold down really small and flat.  We got ours from Kiddicare and when I was in their recently they were in the sale so might be worth a look.

Hi Liz, I found with my first little one that the high chairs with a table are really good (like this - http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3754559/Trail/C%24cip%3D1500012028.Baby%2Band%2Bnursery%3EC%24cip%3D1500012046.Highchairs.htm). My first lo is still using his and he is 4 in June so really value for money. But the downside is they are big and bulky. I would say have a look though.

I cant really sugest any others as I my twins are only 4 weeks old so not even considered those yet lol.

Any recommendations on high chairs please? I'm just about to start weaning my girls who are nearly 6 months and would like to start as I mean to go on. Neither is sitting on her own but pretty good at sitting supported so I think a 5 point harness would be ideal. I live in a tiny house, so folding down small is the key, especially having 2!

Also, how long do they stay in high chairs? Do they move to a booster seat at 12 months anyway or can they stay in them a little longer?!

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

    Liz
