To be honest that is the point that I'm looking forward to - I've found the first 6 months so hard that I just wish their time away. Its such a shame but I have really struggled to properly cope - meaning I do because I have to but not because I particularly want to, sounds terrible but I had a major bad case of baby blues which still pop up from time to time.

I cant wait til I'm running after them, playing and just having fun with them - the older they are getting the more I feel comfortable. Thats just me tho, I'm not a single mum but my dp works away all week so its just me and the girls most of the time xx

ps when they are both walking, i put reins on one, and hold dd's hand as she likes to hold hands,  thats if we are out and about near roads, or in supermarket etc.  i am off to florida at the end of the month for 2nd time since they were born, if it was hard i wouldn't be going, altho i am going with my parents too

hey, im a single mum to twins who are 16 months old. been single since they were 3 months old.  they started crawling at 7 months, walking at 12 months and at every stage it has got easier.  They are so much fun at the moment, they go to bed and muck about in their cots making each other laugh for 30 mins before they go to sleep.  honestly it is so much fun at the moment, they play with toys and keep themselves amused, love reading books.  don't worry the hard part is over i think!  anything else just let me know.  don't be scared : )

There are a few single mums with twins on this site. and i am  a single mum to be expecting twins also... dnt worry about wats to come worry about the hear and now enjoy your twins as wen they get older you might wish for these days to come back. worrying doesnt sort anything out it prob will only give you high blood pressure.

You are finding it easy now so you must be doing somthing right and if you keep doing that im sure you will be fine.

i will be contacting you for advice on my twins soon
