DON'T FEEL BAD!!!! It's hard enough potty training one child let alone twins (I've done it once with my now 3 1/2 yr old boy, but not yet with my twins, they're only 16mths).

Must say I'm not looking forward to it!!! Anyhow, the best bit of advice I learnt when I was having a go with ds1 was if you don't succeed, forget about it, have a couple of weeks off try again, if again it is unsuccesful, leave it a month or a couple of months.

My little boy had a fortnight of potty training when he was just 20mths, he did amazingly well for the first ten days, and then reverted to wetting himself, I put him back in nappies and tried him again when he was 26 mths, he cracked within days and has been dry through the day ever since.

It might be a bit easier for you in the warmer months when they can play without any pants on, don't beat yourself up about it, they will be trained one day and does it really matter if it takes longer than "your mates kids/other kids/expected ages etc"

Don't give into any of that pressure and you'll be fine!!!

Have just ended our second unsuccessful attempt at potty training our 2.5 year old twin girls.

Eliza wouldn't sit on the potty at all and would wee all over the floor and Alice got so upset that I just couldn't take it anymore. Even now she's back in a nappy, shes still holding on and getting upset.

I don't know what to do, I feel so useless and even as I'm typing this I feel like crying. My husband and I are barely talking over it and I feel like complete crap!

Am I being too hard on myself or did we just do it too early...i really don't know what to do and feel so low...
