    Good luckyummymummytwins

hi there, i have 4yr old twins and had severe pains and some spotting at 5 weeks, thought was ectopic til had scan, where they found 2 sacs, but was too early to know if was twins, had to wait 2 weeks til had another scan, its awful that waiting period but there is also nothing u can do except rest. as it was for me the pains eased (some spotting is common in early stages) and on 2nd scan showed 2 babys.

i feel for you, i know how scary it is. my heart goes out to you during the waiting time its so hard!!! good luck i hope everything is ok! pls let me know how u get on.

Hi, I have one dd (9 yrs from prev relationship) and had mc in Nov. Found out I was pregnant a week last friday (exstatic as been ttc for a while) but had spotting ever since (accompanied by pains.) Been seen by epu for bloods etc ever the last few  days and today they did a scan (im about 5 weeks +3) and the internal scan showed two sacs. We could only see one heartbeat but the sonographer did say it could be too early to see the other hb, it could be a few days behind the other one, could be buried deeper or it may not be viable.

I just wondered if any other twin mummy's have had early spotting and pain, and if so, did it result in you loosing a twin? I know its soooo early at this stage and most people wouldnt be aware they had possible twins at this stage but I am just keen to have any other experiences as I have never known any twins or anyone pregnant with twins!!! (Apart from my mil who is a twin.)

Because I had a mc, I wont uncross my fingers til im past 8 weeks and I have another sacn next week to see if we can see hb no2.

    Any advice greatly received.
