I'm pretty sure the requirement to keep roof over head only applies to marriage ending. I may be wrong tho.

i take it dp is daddy to bot then in which case he has a legal requirement to keep a roof  over the kid head if possible and seeing as he has a house that is def possible

you may find housing department will take that view and want to pursue that line eg you staying in house with kids and him moving out im not sure .

anyway you should ring tax credits and let them know and depending on how many hours you do you may qualify for income suport .

do you get milk tokens could try applying for them also in a few months the sure start mat grant .

dp will be paying child support as well which is 15 % of income for first child but im not sure how much it is for 2 nd .

    Hello,

i hope this is not too much of an imposition but i need some advice.

i have a beautiful 18ymth old dd and am 4 months pregnant. it has got to the stage where i can no longer be with dp (i am sure you don't want to know the ins and outs of it).

anyway the home is his so i am basically about to be homeless in a couple of weeks time. i work 3 days a week but most of my wages go towards dd's nursery fees so have little left of my own. i have just contacted a housing support officer and will make an appt to see her.

bascially am just wondering what sort of help is out there for me. i want to continue work if i can, obviously will be going on maternity leave in dec.

i hope this isn't too cheeky!?

    thanks.
