Jem, totally agree with you on being on your own, i find that if they are playing up I just deal with them, but if im out with my mum or at hers, i can get snappy with my mum if that makes sense and its not my mums fault its just me, think im just used to being on my own now. altho i so appreciate my mums help, i think its just because if they are playing up i won't take it out on the twins, so if someone else is there its easy to take them out on that person!

Im living with my mum as well and she's been onholiday now for 2 weeks back on Sunday and I do feel like I've managed better on my own although I'll be glad to see her when she gets back as IM knackered, we've also got 2 16 yr old and 1 19yr old to look after - mums a landlady for Local football team so got them to feed and clean up after too but they are great with the kids.
The cost of living just now is ridiculous soI wont be going anywhere soon it works well for us , and it's a babysitter on tap lol...... x

i split up with my twins dad when they were 12 weeks old, i moved out of our owned property into rented accomation, wouldn't of been fair to go back to my parents house, wouldn't of been fair on my parents, my wee bro. you will cope just fine on your own, you just adapt!

Hi Topps
I've got almost 16 month old boy/girl twins and a single mum too - it's a little bit crazy at times but I have so much support from friends and family, that helps a lot.
How old are your girls?

hi im a first time mum to twin girls...i was wondering if there was any other twin or more mummys that are single parents too?????
love to hear from you xx

i agree with you twinmummylou..i work part time now and im also studying part time to move out would be finacially tight and i would have to cut back...i use to say i would move out when the twinnies are 1 now t hey r 14months and still i have no intention of moving anywhere....babysitter on tap its true and the help is amazingly great fro us....
in theory i is a nice but scary lolthought to be living alone but in practise its best to stay at home until im working full time and on a decent salary....
