TBH, I think a few of you need to sit your partner's down and let them know how you feel and how they can help to make you feel more secure.

My partner was 16(17 when ds was born) when I was pregnant (I was 15, 16 when ds was born) and he spent my entire pregnancy taking me out and making me feel comfortable as I felt like a hippo. It was only after ds was born that he started to go out once or twice a  month. This increased to once a week recently (he is almost 20) but now he has told me that he doesn't want to go out without me anymore as it is unfair that i'm always at home with ds and he's over the 'need to be one of the lads'  phase.

I have never worried about him cheating as I trust him but also because he would hate to think of me cheating and he can't lie well at all Come to think of it, i think he's a bit like a girl!

i have a parner and ive never thought this.......

stay positive, as long as you dont distance yourself from your partner you will be fine, you can still look sexy

well iv spoke to him about things, and i think it just goes threw 1 ear and out the other, grr hes real nice and we get on so well when his mates aint around all the time, this weekend they all came round again every1 drunk except me obv reasons lol and i just got left, i realy wanted to say well sorry i carnt be as loud and immature as u lot. iv told him when the baby gets here he carnt b like it his response was o i will but dosent mean ill stop goin out and start being boring. i just dont think he understands he will need to put us 1st. hmm.

donnab, just sit him down and tell him your feelings - see if you can come to some sort of arrangement.  Obviously you dont want to break it off especially with a baby on the way and tell him this,  things should go well if you ask him about his feelings too then you can both open up.

Hope he makes more of an effort hunni - you dont need the added stress xxx

my bf does the same, and he never makes the effort, he hasnt come to see me since oct 07 i always have to go to see him wich is 1 hour 15 mins on bus, i go to college in the day then after college i go round to his to wait till he gets home at 12 (he works 4 - 12) and then i will stay over so we get sum time together, the weekends he has off but he never comes to me i have to stay at his if i want to spend time with him, but then his mates come round n they get realy drunk. p*** take or what!! and then when his mates come round i get egnored, makes me feel poop sumtimes. i realy love him we have been together 1 year 2 months so i dnt wona finish things. i just wish he would make a effort sumtimes, and im not realy sure how to tell him this. so if any one has any ideas?? lol or add me on onna_ere@hotmail.co.uk">donna_ere@hotmail.co.uk sorry 4 the rant

just read ur thread hunni i felt exactly the same,i spoke to my fella about this and he said that iv not to b daft because its his baby thats gona change my body and its gona be more beautiful than any thing else hes otally smitten now.

thats what my partner says. I got quite bad stretch marks around my bust when having my daughter but he says when he sees them it reminds him of her. Nice way to see it i think after all you cant get rid of them lol xx

Hi, Im 20 and have a 4yr old. My partner goes out and it doesnt bother me, he goes out about twice a month only because he'd rather stay in with me n our daughter. We go out together more than we do seperate cuz we both prefer it that way. I did feel like i was ugly fat n horrible with stretch marks but as ive got older ive learned to love them and think that my beautiful daughter made the stretch marks and i see them now as a symbol of my daughter (if you get me) yes ive got love handles and i was very skinny before but my partner loves me no matter wot and me being heavier having stretch marks etc hasnt made me insecure. The way i look at it was if sum1 is guna cheat they'l do it regardless of if u worry yaself to death about it.

he goes out alot and gets drunk with his mates then he can be really horrible to me and when i tell him what hes done he shrugs it off. it doesnt make me feel very attractive and im scared hes gonna go off with someone else. maybe its hormones but sometimes i just dont want to live with him anymore but i dont think i could cope by myself. hes akready got another daughter and he dont get to see her and im scared that once ours is born hes not going to like that my body aint the same and leave me for someone else. i cant wait to have my baby but its really worrying me.

I live with my brother and my boyfriend but i feel really lonely all the time, its so good to talk to other people who are going through the same thing.

Plus if your partner did cheat what kind of bloke would he be to cheat on his girtlfriend whilst carrying his child? I'm sure he adores you and your changing body. x

its really hard when they are going out an leavin u in, ESPECAILLY coz you cant drink, just try not too get yourself upset about it, your boyfriend will love you no matter what, i had a nice flat stomach before i fell pregnant, was 9 stone, now im blessed with a nice big bump, love handles, and stretch marks, and my god my arse has gotton huge, but im learning to overcome all that and appreciate my body the way it is. i cried into my pillow for about an hour yesterday because i couldnt fit into any ov my clothes....i know i can, i was just whining about it! at the end of the day if you learn to start liking your body as it changes your boyfriend will like it too and respect you more for it. pregnant women are beautiful and think your doing something truly amazing.....(although sometimes you wont feel like that)

sod all those skinny girls your boyfriend loves you for you. its not like you've only been together a few weeks youv been together for near on a year an a half, you dont stay with someone for that long because you just love their body, you love every bit ov that person inside and out! and you dont sound like your a nasty person you seem like you have a lovely personality, so your boyfriend has no reason to go elsewhere,  and if you ask me your boyfriend has alot ov courage to tell you himself that he cheated on you and regretted it anyway, so if he's done it before and regretted it im sure he wont do it again. it sounds like not only did he hurt you, he hurt himself by doing it!

If it gets too much for you.... sit him down, dont let him talk until youve finished, and say to him.... look my body IS going to change over the next few months, my hormones are going to be everywhere, im gonna want to cry an shout over nothing, but all i REALLY need to know is that you are going to be here for me and reassure me when i need you. really open up too him, he'll love u for it.

i am exactly the same hun dont worry. my boyfriend is going clubbing later for his mates birthday, and its killing me knowin that he is gonna go out lookin all fit and bein around drunk girls, whilst i just sit at home feeling like a heffa!  how long have you an your boyf been together?  i trust mine 100% i know he loves me so much yet i cant overcome this pregnancy paranoiah thinkin he'll go behind my back all coz i dont feel in the slightest bit attractive! its like i need constant reasurrance! im sure your other half loves you so so so much, its just your emotions getting the better ov you hun! how far gone are you? and how has your partner been since he found out u were pregnant?
