It does upset me how narrow minded and judgemental some people are, I mean they don't even no us how can they say we wont be good mums? Or any less than a mum whos 30.

Yes im single and yes im 20 but it doesnt mean my baby will be loved any less, or wont get the things he/she needs. At least by being young we have a better chance of being around for a very long while!

it boils my blood, why cant we be respected for who we are and what we do, not be judged because of our age? xx

I have a 16 month old daughter and im 15 weeks pregnant with number 2. Im 19 and most people have taken a real negative view on us having baby number 2, which we find upsetting. I'll be the first to admit that neither of our babies have been planned but we are firm believers that what will be will be! We will be having at least 2 more children in the future but maybe not quite so soon lol x

i had my first just after my 20th birthday, and he has not held me back in any way at all!

i'm a supervisor where i work, i have a lovely home, an amazing fiancee and a gorgeous devil of a son.

i am due again in 6 weeks time. i get so fed up with people who stare at me when i'm walking around town. all i can think is i'm the one with the huge belly and i'm on maternity leave, what's your excuse for being off work and not earning the money i do?!?!?!

(ok - not all of them will be unemployed bums and most of them will be working shifts or part time, but if they think it about me why can't i think it about them! makes my hormones settle for 5 or so minutes!)

    xx

    Cool!anakinmom

im from ipswich, you? my first babe was kinda planned but my second wasnt, but i didnt have any negative thoughts about having her, i just thought 'if other people can cope with 2, why cant i'. i actually think young parents should be praised because they dont have the life skills or experience as some older mums have, but we cope perfectly well.
