My god I have one of these 4 year olds too!!! she gives real back chat ignores everything I say and is generally horrible! She starts scholl in Sept so hopefully it will sort her out- she only started like this since she went to the schools nursery as they seem to have no interest in controlling the children- she was fine at the normal nursery! She told me last week that she was going to push me down the stairs!!!!

My dd will be 5 in September and at the moment she goes to nursery in the mornings.  She used to be such a sweet, well behaved and polite little girl, but since starting nursery in January she has turned into a child from hell.  Seems to have forgotten her manners and we are constantly telling her about it.  She refuses to do what I tell her, and then dp intervenes, usually by shouting at her, and then she starts crying/sobbing her heart out.  She's 4 going on 14 with a really bad attitude.

thank god its not just me, havve to admit tho siince moviing house and getting him back into a routine things have been a little bit easier, tonight being the fst night he has not fought and screamed about having to go to bed, and as he is sleeping better his behaviour has improved mildly.

Thank God it's not just me. My DD2 is 4, nearly 5 and starting school in September. She has had 2 school visits, both of them 2 hours at a time. She has kicked off in both visits. She is rude, defiant, mouthy etc. I have totally run out of ideas in how to deal with her.

My DD1 is nearly 7 and is such a good girl so where did i go wrong with this one? I also hope DD3 doesnt go the same way as DD2 arrrggghhhhh

I have got this problem with my ds, he is 5 and already in full time school and is constantly playing up.  he is throwing things and telling me he is going to kick me in the head and keeps stamping his feet like a teengaer and saying its not fair! I also have a 2 yr old who is starting to copy and a 4 weekoldto look after so I am shattered and glad I am not the only one with an OH that just shouts and makes it worse or argues with him  (he is like a child too)!!

I am thinking that he might have hayfever though as usually happens around this time of the year where he gets irritable and so am going to take him the docs.

Hope yours calm down soon xx
