My dd starts school in September.  At the moment she has been going in on Friday afternoons to get used to it and get to know her classmates and teacher.  She has really enjoyed going there and can't wait to go there all the time.  Next Friday is the last session and she is going to hate having to wait until September to go back there, it will be full time when she does go.  She breaks up from nursery on the 18th July, so from then she will be contantly asking when she will be going to school.

DD2 starts school in Aug and tomorrow is her last day at nursery as we go on holiday on Thursday. She's more than ready for it but I think I'm more upset about her going than I was about DD1 going because she's my baby. She's still tiny and the age 4 school uniform drowns her but I refuse to buy an age 3 (i'm just hoping she'll grow a bit over the summer).
