Have just asked DD1 as she has done sex education at school this year (yr 5). She says that if it is the one that she thinks it is it just goes through how the body changes and explains about periods etc but doesn't go into how babies are made/born etc. This is other video's that show this. I didn't view the material that was being used but my ex did as dd was with him the evening that the school did the previews. I have had lots of questions about the whole range of things that they have learnt about but just answer as honest as you can and I'm sure all will be fine.14/7/08 16:13
Hi, parents have been invited to see the above on Friday about an hour before our kids are seeing it..... can anyone tell me how far it goes - ie: puberty / or sex ed?? I thought we'd be seeing it at the end of this term and kids would see it next year - giving us time to deal with it at home first. Wasn't too worried cos i thought it would just be puberty, body changes, etc., but now I'm not so sure....
Thanks so much for this..... I thought that's all it would cover initially, but after speaking to others today, was worried about how much detail it would go into. I've got a feeling they have another video next year which does the whole babies thing.... I'm happy to ansa questions and stuff but want to feel that the time is right... You have set my mind at rest. Cheers x
