    Sorry,just noticed you have tried Ikea.if you are trying to save money (as most of us are) why not try ex catalogue shops or if you are not bothered about brandnew, would you buy second hand and revamp it?  Leanne.x

    Hi, i dont know if you can drive but i think Ikea has a wide selection,good prices and different,i got my 9 year old a gloss white desk for £30- you could also look on the website to see if there are any on there,if we ever go we make a day of it,the restaurant is really cheap-children get free fruit and baby food,there is a play area too! i am addicted to the place now but i have to travel to leeds!-dont know if there are any near to you,hth, Leanne.x

    hi my son has a desk from argos i think it was about £60ish it has 3 drawers and 2 shelves it was a good size for him to do homework and have some of his "junk" on

    I have a questionianb

    Can anyone advise on where I can can a desk for my son's bedroom please? He starts school soon and I'd like him to have somewhere to do his homework etc. 

    I've looked in John Lewis, Toys R Us and Ikea, but they all seem very small (60cm wide).
