The bond assessment books are good. Do a quick search on amazon. They are aimed at the 11+.

Thanks for this - I found the schools website and they sell actual past papers so I've ordered them and I printed off some standard ones from the internet which Caity had a go at and enjoyed (!!), so we'll probably go for it and see what happens.  At the end of the day, she has nothing to lose and it may just boost her confidence.  Cheers, Jo x

we bought past papers too , the type of questions is very different to what most children are used to in this area as they are not preparing for 11 plus , but at the time we were going to relocate. just lots of practice and explaining what the questions mean helped incredibly. maybe ring the school and ask how best you can prepare your child - and good luck .

    I have a questionJoBee36

My daughter wants to take the 11+ this year but we cannot afford a private tutor - I am buying some past papers for her to do at home - has anyone else done this & how did they get on..... We actually want her to go to local comp but she is very bright and is keen to take the 11+ just to see if she can do it....  Any experiences welcome  xx
