Can you ask the trustees who you make a complaint to?? would any of the teachers be willing to put complaints in to?? Usually it just takes a collective effort but im not sure who you contact. What you need is evidence...(not sure you can collect it tho) How was the school before he came, how has it been since, grades etc.....,how many teachers left and why. I would think if the school starts going downhill and the parents complain something would have to be done....

what would you do about it?

i found out today that a huge number of teachers have been leaving our school since the arrival of a new headteacher.  he is not a good head, this is my personal opinion after various dealings with him, and it seems that all his staff are unhappy, and leaving in droves.

my own son is not yet affected by this but i am worried about the future.  I spoke to a parent today whos son has had a teacher leave in every single year of his schooling, all of them part way through the class, and part times, temporaries have replaced them, therefore disrupting his education through his early life.

to me, this is not teaching children to "follow something through" "THAT its ok to just give up" "THAT its ok to walk out if you dont like something".

I am quite shocked about what I have heard today and feel that as parents we need to say something.

But who to, is there any point?  the head is a waste of space, but the Board of trustees seem to believe his lies and not see his incompetance.  Hes a good yes man, but doesnt follow through on any of his promises.  Discipline is appalling and if you complain he turns everything round that it is you that has a problem and everything is your fault.

It seems there has been lots of internal politics and battles going on, so I dont know who I can trust to talk to know I should ignore it, but when children are affected I dont believe we should ignore it

    what would you do?

has this happened to any of your kids, and where they ok once they went to high school?
