My son is 6 and this is the first month we've had dry nights! I spoke to my GP (he has other medical problems and bed wetting was making this worse) and I asked if his name could be put on the waiting list for the bed wetting clinic (thinking he had to be 7 to be seen). However, we got seen within 6 weeks and he has been put on medication, Desmomelts, and its worked a treat. He is on the lowest dose, I was told I can double it if it doesnt work - but it seems to have yay!!!

I found with Joshua he started feeling embarrassed about bed wetting and was hiding pjs etc so we had a talk and I explained to him that although he had to try really hard to wake up for the toilet, it wasnt his fault. I told him is wee bucket in his belly was lazy and didnt like waking up when he needed a wee, so he had to do the waking up and if a wee wee got out it was ok because I know he tried really hard but he had to stop hiding his pjs because that was dirty. It seemed to help and we got into a daily routine of him waking up, bringing his own washing down and then bath etc etc

Hopefully you're lo is over it and continues to stay dry. It makes it sooooo much easier lol

My little girl  slept so sound that she would wet the bed and end up sleeping in it all night.  At the age of five She was still wearing drynites.  Then I researched the internet and got a bewetting alarm.  It comes with a sensor pad and an alarm that clips onto her pyjamas.  the alarm sounds as soon as she starts to wet.  The best way to use it is to insert the sensor into a panty liner and then attach to her pants. For the first few days she slept through the alarm -but it woke me!  I would go in wake her up, get her to switch the alarm off and go to the toilet.  The next week she was able to wake herself when the alarm went off.  Within three weeks the alarm wasn't sounding anymore.  I kept it on another week to be sure but she's been dry ever since.  Can't remember what its called but its yellow and blue and I bought it online.

I dont know if this is the right forum, but hopefully someone can help!

My DD is 4 and a half, she starts school in september full time.

The problem i have is that she keeps wetting the bed, its been about 5 times this week and its driving me crazy! Last night i was going to wake her when i went to bed to take her to the toilet but she had already wet herself. She always goes to the toilet before bedtime and i limit her drinks an hour before bed.

Im not sure what to do, i dont get annoyed at her for it, i do keep telling her she must wake up to go to the toilet and mummy is fed up with washing the sheets and douvet covers every day, she doesnt seem to be able to help it, im not sure if the weather has anything to do with it?

She has been potty trained day and night from 2 and  half, so its not as if she is new to going to bed with no nappy etc.

Any advice appreciated, going to wake her up a bit earlier tonight for the toilet, as i went to bed at midnight last night and she was already wet, so il probably wake her at 10 or something

    Thanks for reading x
