Thanks hunny, I have my 20 weeks scan booked on 15th Dec, so will know for definate what sex the baby is, will be eating my words if it's alittle boy lol!
Not sure what line your hubby is in, but the criminal world is at it's best atm, so might be worth looking in that direction, CO, tagging, Courts, that sort of thing, just depends where you are in the country, I know what companies run the contracts in certain areas, so if you want to know more pm me

Hey Lisa,
I know what you mean, there are some people on here that you form strong bonds with. What a lovely choice of name, I know it's not after me but so nice of you to mention it. I can't believe you are already 16 weeks you must be showing now.. These forums make you meet amazing people and it's always sad to see bad things happening but it's lovely to go through all the great excitment when things go well. I read your post about listening to your baby's heartbeat. I am so pleased for you and think of you always...
Well dh is still looking for a job and with the economic climate it is very difficult keeping fingers crossed. But we are enjoying more time together so I guess that is not a bad thing...
Take care of yourself and poppet alias Charlotte....

Hiya Charlotte

I haven't told my oh yet, but I am seriously thinking of naming baby Charlotte (had a feeling for a few weeks this one is a little girl)
I'm 16+2 now, god knows where the weeks have gone, have watched some of the girls from DIM come and go, and it has tore at my heart strings, one inpaticular was a god send when I 1st went over, now she is over here, she knows who she is xx
Some people you talk to and get to know, then others are just "special" in some sort of strange way, you get to know them, you can even predict their answer to some questions, that's what I love about this forum

Have just read about theprawn
has upset me, only spoken to her a few times, but admire her spirit and honesty.Anyway, how are you getting on, has your hubby found another job yet? I have tried to keep up, but don't really like posting too much over here.

Hi All,
Glad you got your peak Shell and good luck in catching the egg!!
These cycles are a nightmare, like you all I used to have regular 28 day cycles now I don't know what to expect, they keepp changing... maybe like you it's because I am getting older, I am 32 and dh is 39!!! He will be 40 when I will have the next one! Oh well he still looks young!
has anyone heard of Geeh? I really hope it is a BFP for her.
I hope the docs help you girls to find out what is going on with your cycles.

hi
thanks for the list shell i'm in the same boat as you i know i don't ov every month, i've had blood test before to confirm it and i also have a clear blue monitor which tells me the same i did not ov last month and it looks like its going the same way this month.
if we have no bfp by jan i go back to the docs for a referal to a fertility cons.

thanks shell, so do you think i have a right to be p***ed off? or am i just over-reacting? i wrote a really strongly worded letter and now i have a meeting tomorrow after school. i just want them to recognise that he needs a little bit more help than some of the older kids and those who have parents to remind them at the end of the day or first thing in the morning. not sure how to handle the meeting really...it's hard being the parent and not the teacher. i know if i was the teacher and a parent raised a concern i'd be gutted think i 'd failed them but not sure how toby's teachers see this...think they might just be a little wary of me beacuse i am a teacher and they know i know how the system works.
i might suggest we have a diary or book that we can write messages in so that we can improve the communication between home and school. he is getting anxious and upset and there is no way taht any child should feel like this so the school have to recognise and support him in this don't they!

Hi Joolie and Rosie...dp hasnt actually given me a time frame
i hope he doesnt give me one
Rosie, sorry your ds is disliking school, i think they should encourage him to remember his things, i know where i work i try to rem the kids to bring their coats in or they wont get out to play and things like that, i think if had more hours in school then i would be helping them to remember things xoxo

I'm 29 and DP is 31 and we're still having no luck. well I booked an appointment for Friday morning as I'm fed up of feeling rough. Hopefully we'll get somewhere with my cycles and evil Afs. Got such a bad haedache today and feel really sick...Got to stick at though I'm at work. having a dreadful time with DS's school at moment and I've written four letters since the start of term! He's only four and he keeps forgetting to bring things home. The school arn't supporting him and say he should be more independent and it is his responsibility.! I disagree. He goes to breakfast club at 7.30 am and then to school and then to after school club until almost 6 pm how is supposed to remember everything like his hat, gloves, bag, letters, and dinner money? they have a TA in his class so surely it wouldn't take up too much time just to remind him at the end of the day......he is the only child in his class who goes to wrap-around care full-time. The other kids have parents or relatives who pick them up and remind their kids what they need to do, bring, collect, hand-in etc. I am organized and do the best I can to make sure he is on time for school, looking smart, clean and ready to learn and has everything he needs for the day. I remind him everyday at 7am when I leave for work but it's unfair to expect a child of four years and 3 months to remember so many things for so many hours.and I'm cross that the school are not helping him at the other end they just expect him to do it. I cannot help working the hours I do and neither can DP. I would love to be a stay at home parent and do the school run but it can't happen. I feel like the school are treating us unfairly It is so hard for him to remember everything. Recenetly he's been getting anxious and upset when he forgets things and says he doesn't enjoy school anymore........I've got to arrange a meeting to sort this out. it breaks my heart.

I've just gone 32 and dh is 38 next week... he said we've got til he's 40.
18/11/08 10:25
Maybe it does change when you get into your 30's

Im the same, dp will be 37 in april and il be 32 in may, i dont think he will want to start having kids in his 40's, though his youngest sister was born when his dad was 44 so i dont know what will happen.
He's the only one in his family that doesnt have kids, he keeps me going that when he starts that i will be preg every 9 mts

Shell, mine used to be 28 days but now I have one long one and a normal one, these things just happen and I think you probably wouldn't notice if you weren't ttc, it's just focussing on dates and things is not good for your health. I'm getting older too, so we can get older together! DH is getting even older... I've got two years and then he said he doesn't want to try after that as he feels he will be too old... eeeeekkkkkkk
18/11/08 09:51
Morning Joolie

Ive had 28 day cycles for the past 18 yrs, im never late unless i was preg but last mth the monitor said i didnt ov to cd 22 and 23 so i had a 36/37 day cycle, its never happened to me before.
Now this mth i will have a 34/35 day cycle, i dont know why they have suddenly changed, thats why im going to the doc to see if she can shed any light on it.
I spoke to dp about it last night and he said i have to rem im getting older
ha haGood luck to you joolie, hope you dont need the monitor and you get your bfp he he

Morning Shell, do you have long cycles or just ov late in your cycle? Well done though, must be a weight off your mind that it's come at last?
I can't wait to get cracking with my CB machine next month, thinking it will highlight some things about my cycle that I was blissfully unaware of before!
