It made sense in my head lol I am thinking that 7 days is ONE full week, so Fri is day 1 of that week, Thurs is day 7 - so a full week! So the Fri will be Day 1 of a new week!?

Right now I think I am 4+3 ..... been thinking and CD1 was friday 25th July, 7 days is ONE WEEK including day 1 Friday... so cd1 Fri, cd2 Sat, cd3 Sun, cd4 Mon, cd5 Tues, cd6 Wed, cd7 Thurs - so 1 WEEK! So Thurs was CD28 4 weeks exactly - so Friday was CD29 4+1 - today is 4+3 !!!!!!

OMFG does that make sense!!!????????

Sorry I don't know about temps and things - have never done that I have always just gone by OPK's as I don't always get ewcm either I know it is so confusing hun lol - we must be mad eh lmao!?

right ,  i do my temps on fertility friend, and they didnt record ovulation, the 1st time my temps were all over, spiking erratically, i had no ewcm either, although i know its posible that i may have still ov, the 2nd time there was no record as that cycle was way too short....

i was using the ebay opk but i got 2 lines all the way through my cycle but never a positive one, crazy...

my clearblue ones have not arrived yet, i bought them the other night from ebay but i noticed superdrug have an offer of buy 1 pack get the other 1/2 price........

last cycle was probably the best, i got the ewcm and then  ff recorded ov a  couple of days later.......

Look at me, you wouldnt think i had 3 kids,,,,, im bloody useless at all this stuff.... it just sort of happened with the others. I really do want a may bean though......

Pink thank you too hun. Right with regards to your questions - wow that is really erratic cycles hun, sorry you are going through such confusion!!! You say that you didn't ovulate in these cycles - are you saying that because you never detected ovulation on an OPK? If so, this doesn't mean you didn't ovulate - many many women never detect ovulation on OPK's and have still gotten pregnant, unfortunately OPk's don't always work for everyone!

Okay, with cycles ranging the way they do hun, it is difficult to pinpoint roughly when you will ovulate. What I would do is take an average cycle legnth from them all, which I work out to be about 33 days (adding them all together and dividing by 4!) From that I would advise you to start testing for ovulation at around CD14-15 hun, cos if you had a 32-33 day cycle for example, you would have ovulated around CD 18-19, as when you ovulate determines when you will get af if the egg is not fertilised, this is always usually 14-16dpo. And as you are so irregular, you are best to try and "cover" as many bases as possible. Do you have any other symptoms of ovulation hun, either EWCM or OV pain on one side??? If so that's good and can help, EWCM can occur a few days before ovulation, during and even after - so the best thing to do it when you have EWCM get bd'ing lol With ovulation tests, I do think clearblue are the best hun - cheapie ebays haven't worked for me (but they do for some!) now clearblue are more expensive and you only get 7 in a pack - as your cycles can be long you may need more than seven to detect OV hun, of course when you detect ovulation you don't need to use anymore! - so I would advise you to buy them off ebay! Lots of private sellers sell clearblue opk's and if you hunt around and can get them a lot cheaper! Now when you get a positive OPK - that means you have detected you LH surge, which means you will ovulate within the next 12-36 hours, so you are most fertile on the day of positive opk and the two days after this - so get plenty bd'ing in then and remember to elevate your hips after for as long as possible lol After a positive OPK you have a good idea when af/bfp is due - 14-16 days after positive OPK.

Not really been on this side much, been using a depo thread on ttc, shame on me, but i really wanted to say

2ndly........ Ineed some advice....

since depo ran out, my cycles have all been different lengths and my ovulation days have all been different........

1st cycle -  april 10th -may 23rd 43 days no ov

2nd cycle - may 23rd - july 1st  39 days - ov day 27

3rd cycle - july 1st - july 13th 12 days - no ov

4th cycle - july 13th-august 17th 35 days ov day 23

 5th cycle august 17th - whenever

dont know what happened on cycle 3, i bled for 3 days then nothing then i started bleeding again on july 13th.......

my question is when do you think i should start testing for ovulation, my last cycle was 35 days so do i use that as my guide??? or could it be shorter yet again??? although sort of ignore last question as its like asking how long is a piece of string

ive bought some clearblue ovulation sticks, and i think it would be pointless testing eith them too early as  it would be a waste........

any advice or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated...
