Also hun you may find this site very very useful hun, the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust. There is also a section there where you can light a tribute candle for your angel, I did this and found it very helpful...

    Hi Hunnie,

I have had 2 ectopic pregnancies - sadly resulting in the loss of both my complete tubes so now IVF will be our only option to conceive in the future. I have also had two early mc's in between. But I have been through everything regarding ectopics as have some other girls too so you have a lot of support in this hun, don't feel you are on your own.

But as you have one tube and a half hun chances are very very good, people think that if you lose a tube your chances are halved and that's not true it actually only drops about 30-40% and as you still have half a tube hun the egg can still use this tube. Now many people will tell you different things - most Doctors will tell you to wait 3 months to let your body get back to normal. As you have had quite serious surgery, it is important you get yourself better physically first as there will still be a lot of internal scarring etc from surgery. Also an ectopic pregnany is a huge shock to the system hun, not only are you dealing with major surgery and the shock of your life being in danger, you are coping with the loss of your baby also, you must take time to recover mentally and physically and I cannot stress that enough hun please give yourself plenty time. Now after my first ectopic I was told to wait 3 months BUT as long as I was healed properly it would be okay to TTC after two normal af's. So I would advise you hun, if you want to TTC asap, and don't want to wait 3 months, to wait for two normal cycles and start TTC again after your second proper period. You must give yourseld plenty time to grieve hun, you have lost a baby and you must let your feelings out, you also must give your body a chance to recover physically as if you got pregnant too soon, it could cause more strain than good. It could take a while (4-8 weeks)  for your first normal af to come back, don't let this worry you, everyone is different - this first af may be heavier or lighter than before or it may be more or less painful than before, don't let this worry you hun, also your periods could become a bit more irregular than they were before don't worry about this either.

I am here anytime if you need to ask me anything or talk about anything hun, please feel free to PM me any time okay? So sorry for your loss hun, sending you huge ((((((hugs))))))

    Hi

My friend had an eptopic pregnancy and a tube removed and she was told to wait three months.  I think they tell everyone to wait three month s for your cycle to get back on track as they told me the same eventhough I didn;t have an eptopic.

I think its when the time is right for the person also
