Hi, Ive had 3 sessions of reflexology and I find it amazing how they can detect certain ailments etc. I told her that I was ttc and she is focussing on that area too. The best thing for me is that she has worked a lot on my emotions and anxiety and it sounds mad after 3 sessions, but she has done me wonders, I feel the best I have in ages! Good luck for sat, its sooo relaxing! x

Hiya
My Grandma is a reflexologist, and after losing my baby, she has been treating my feet every week... It really helps me- apparently they can find out what has happened in your past and present, and whats wrong with your body... as well as get rid of the problems.... After losing my baby, I developed sciatica, and pulled my achilles tendon- my Grandma treated me and managed to make it all much better.....!
It is well worth it- it does hurt a bit afterwards but then you def reap the rewards!!! it does take a few treatments to get the most out of it though- it gets better after each treatment!
Hope that helps... and that you enjoy it!

hi girls
i'm another love of reflexology. if you have it regularly enough the therapist does get used to your feet.
i advised mine that i was using it for ttc and let her know when i was diagnosed with PCOS and she works on specific areas and mine gives me a run down after she's finished the treatment of what she's found that session and what to do moving on to the next session i.e if you have some emotions building up and you need to speak up to family members about it and helps you move on and can spot things in you that you might miss.
with using my reflexologist i shortened my cycle and improved my digestion just waiting for her to come back from sick leave as this stuff can damage their wrists.
hope this helps xxx

hi ropey,
im a reflexologist and think it is wonderful (obviously) i have treated loads of women who are ttc and it has helped them.
make sure the therapist knows your ttc and if your in the 2ww also tell her that as if theres a chance you could be pg there are points that can be avoided.
you normally need a few treatments for it to work in your system and for you to see an improvement but i think its well worth it.
good luck hun xxxx

I lurve reflexology. You must tell her when you go in that you are ttc though and they will concentrate on certain points... I find it interesting to ask what they are working on, it's an amazing feeling but hard to explain. It certainly doesn't tickle in any way, but get involved and make sure you know what they're doing. Mine can tell when my af is due as near your ankles is your ovaries and they swell apparently...

I used to have it years ago - it was so lovely and relaxing, it used to make me fall asleep whilst it was being done!
Enjoy!
