one week tomorrow i should know babba's birthday - yay!!!!!!!!!
feeling HUGE at mo and she's still kicking away and elbowing me constantly, but at least she has gone back to extended breech, for a couple of days she had her knees digging out and her feet down a little bit (like they should be when the right way round) and it was uncompfy, but i dont mind this position too much.
hey ho, been overdoing the ice cubes so heartburn is raging again.
toodle pip, hope daniel is keeping you blissed out and busy and breastfeeding going well xxxx
hope spd is bearable em, and you relaxing now work is finally over xxxx
15/7/08 21:27
hello
so pleased daniel is well, and hope you recover soon and arent too traumatised by birth/ csection, sounds awful hon xxxx
hi em, glad you have finished work
is finn going to be three??!!i am on my jollies with family this week, the first few days i was knacered and grumpy but think it was just all the stress and relief of finishing work - feel much more chilled and peaceful today, thank god for my sanity and everyone around me

i even went swimming today - and yesterday, feels great - it stiffens up my legs and hips but spd is nowhere near as bad as when i had jacob so i am making the most of it. jacob is full of it - all the special trips and treats and attention from family, good to see him being spoiled, tho sure we will pay.
kelly, hope you are well hon

Hi Lane!
Thankyou for your lovely long post filling us in. You are so brave cos your c section sounds traumatic to say the least. Thank goodness Daniel is here safe and sound though! You take lots of care of yourself now! Congratulations again and well done!!!!!!
Jen- you are off work now aren't you? Any news on your c section date etc? How are you keeping? I have been in muchios pain with my spd this week-boo!
I Finished work today yaaaaayyyyy! Going to spend the next few days getting ready for Finns bday. Pretty tired at the mo and as I say in pain down below! Going to start the old raspberry leaf this week-yum!
Kelly-hows everything?
Still thinking of Katy too-big hugs chick.

Morning ladies.

I got hopme yesterday about 4pm. I am on cloud nine, well we all are. I just can't stop looking at him.
The birth wasnt as simple as we hoped.
When they opened me up they found out that my bladder was attached to the uterus by previous scar tissuse so it had to be cut away from the uterus so they could get him out or they cut it getting him out not sure which it was. I was a bit drugged up when they were explaning so their accent didn't help either lol.
So they got him out and he started crying right away i was so happy. They cleaned him up and gave him to Ian while they tried to fix me up. It seemed to take forever and was starting to hurt. The anistatis told me there had been a small problem with the bladder and that was what was taking longer. He topped up my painkillers but it just got worse and worse. By this time Ian had been taken back to my room with Daniel. I swear the surgeons must have forgot that i was actually still awake and feeling what they were doing, which in turn made me tense up. The anistatis had to tell them three mayb more times that they had to stop being so rough. He did offer to put me to sleep but i just wanted it over with so i could go and see Daniel. He topped up everything he could and gave me gas&air mix which did the trick as i felt out of it then.
So here i am home with my cathita still attached until thursday, but the midwives have been great because i have a big bag for when i am in the house but also a little discreet one that straps to my leg so i can go out.
Daniel is sooooooo good. I am getting plenty of sleep in between feeds and after a few days breast feeding is going great.
George loves him and has already shown what a brilliant big brother he is.
I will upload some photos soon.
Hope you are all cooking those little ones well.

Jen, I sooo don't blame you for going with the c section option... After everything you've been through it seems the best way to go...that does mean you will probably have your gorgeous lilttle lady in your arms before I have my bubs and I will be left all on my own (you didn't think about me at all did you? ha ha only joking!). Is your last day at work tomorrow-hooray!!!
Katybelle-been reading the other thread and it seems things are looking up again...... don't want to tempt fate but do want say congratulations and all the best-My heart is going out to you so much and I've got all my fingers and toes crossed..... lots of baby glue too
xxxxxKelly-hows you my love? x
As for me-2 days left at work next week, yippee! Feel fine-getting so much movement now, really getting beaten up! Got the money sorted for our new baby things so ordering them in a minute- getting a black Phil and Teds nad maxi cosi care seat. Also a new cot bed and matress as Finn is still in his.
Going to go now as don't want a repeat of last time!
Loads of love and hugs to everyone,
Em xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

linda and lane - all the best for you both going in to hsopital tomorrow!!
lane, two days now hon xxxxxxxxxxxx
had my mw appt today and she was fully backing me up to not have a vbac and go for planned section, and THEN i told her last scan had been breech, so she said well then, you have no choice! felt better for that.
then she felt baby and said she is breech, extended, which means her little legs will be right in front of her face, so head and feet are in my ribs, bum 'down there', and that she will not turn at all now because of this position.
so its definite then, planned c-section.

5/7/08 21:14
all the best to you linda!!!! let us know how you get on hon xxx
aw em. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! computers, eh?! hows toilet training with fin going hon?

I go in the day before to have all my checks done and because i live a bit away i will be staying in over night. All being well i will be first on the list as long as there are no emergencies.
I had my steroids yesterday and today. My friend warned me i might have pink flushes on my face but today my whole body went pink i looked like a prawn lol.
Baby was being lazy this morning too so i worried that he didn't like the steroids either, i asked them to check him and his heart beat came up right away. Now he's been a wriggler all day lol.
Although i am sure i will be paraniod until i see him in the flesh.
How is everyone else doing this week.
3/7/08 21:59
what day do you go in? do you just go in for c-section on the thursday or are you going in a day or two before? for more steroids etc?
3/7/08 17:47

My bubs is also moving like mad at the mo-(I love it!). Finn is 2 tomorrow yay-more excited than him I think!
