    lol at the pancakes em!!!!

did you have a good catch up lat night lane? do you miss work at all (lol)?

i havent too long now, but shed loads to do, not helped by being asked to fill in for other people doing their clinics whilst they are on annual leave, which consumes a lot of time both in the clinic session and admin. ah well

i went out last night with friends i used to go to school with, so it was a good catch up, esp as we dont talk about school anymore, got past that bit!!! i was out til midnight!!!!

i am having a pretty good 2nd trimester, feel quite awake and all that, when does third trimester staryt???

i got all anal cleaning the kitchen yesterday, scrubbing tiles, etc etc, i have now done all my jobs on the long to do list before baby comes for downstairs, and now we have finally had the loft finished this morning, next week i can start on upstairs. tho we have just decided to redecorate the spare room, ie wallpaper jacobs new room. yay, the joy!!!! i might get out of it with being uppus duffus, worht a try!!!! the worst thing is about stripping paper isnot knowing how easy or hard it is going to be to tak eit off until you have started, and then you have started it so you have to finish regardless!

well, pootling off now, really need to order a matenrity swim suit for jollies when i will be 34 weeks preggers, folly me thinks....

Well just to say that i haven't fancies pancakes and i am having a boy lol.

Although reading both your posts i wouldn't say no to a plate with ice-cream and sauce.

I have done nothing today, i just haven't had any energy, i even fell asleep on the sofa at 12.30.

I am having major problems going to the loo. It's my own fault as i haven't been taking the lactalose everyday like i should. Oh the joys lol.

Going to my frends house tonight to help her make her wedding invites and catch up on all the gossip i have missed in work.

hiya lane, i have posted a couple of links to the flylady website, i have used her tips on keeping house keeping under control ,not to the extent you can do with her 'system' but enough to keep me sane, and i even have my nearly three yr old running around the house helping me clean and tidy.

the riley challenges are good: basically it is just about making tidying as painfree as possible, and fun by keeping it short and quick and simple, but by doing one little thing a day.

worth a look for a laugh anyhoo!!!

i am trying to nest now before i physically struggle, and things are going well, i am trying not to overdo it, just chipping away and generally getting life in order!!!

wish i could sort myself out at work, seem to have frozen a bit at the enormity of what i need to do before i leave, ah well!!! chip away at that too i guess!!

bought some gaviscon today, yummy!!!! i forgot it was my friend last time, felt a bit iembarrassed in boots asking for a handbag sized one!!!!!

well, off to lie down now and wake babba up. cant wait to find out sex for sure now, so want to call it by its name, but reluctant to do that just in case they did get it wrong!!!! less than three weeks now

It has been a good few days hasn't it. I have even managed to be in the mood for a little tidying today. I have yet to tackle the pit that is my sons bedroom.

You both have all this too look forward too. His is 8 and no matter how i try he just doesn't get the keeping your room tidy thing. I have threatened to throw it all out but it doesn't matter. I am hoping that when we redecorate he will have a bit more pride in it.

I am going to be sooo busy this next few weeks as i am singing in a big concert this saturday and i am also trying to organise a surprise 40th party for my husband. Not easy to keep my mouth shut with the memory i have thes days. lol.

How nice is the weather?!  I've been in the garden with Finn Sorting out the sandpit with fresh sand and playing with his water table.  Had 2 bbqs in the last week too.  Only problem is I can't get my wedding and engagement rings on as my fingers have gone a tiy bit puffy!

I was 24 weeks on thursday and bought a few clothes for bubs to celebrate.  I'm working up to 34 weeks and then it will be the summer hols so I will be off anyway... all being well, actually starting mat leave on the 25th of August so 3 days before my edd!!

Glad you are all doing well.  I am like a whirlwind at the moment can't stop cleaning/tidying etc!!  My house is so much cleaner/tidier than normal!

Got my second active birth and yoga session tomorrow-looking forward to it.

i am 24 weeks today, which is another milestone for me, next i have is in three weeks time when we have booked a 4D scan, cant wait - we will definitely have the sex confirmed then so i am getting excited!!! and it WILL be strange, just KNOWING who it is we will be meetin come th eend of august, early sept, going in and knowing we will be meeting baby J_

    Hi all,

Great news on reaching 19 weeks kelli. It's so much fun now isn't it having the expanding belly and the kicking. I love watching all the odd shapes my belly makes.

Tomorrow i will be 28 weeks, just over 8 weeks to go until i get to meet this little man. I wish is was sooner as i will be closer to 37 weeks when the consultant wants to do the section.

Well as from yesterday i am officially a lady of lesuire. It was sad saying goodbye to them all and i was a little teary. We then went out to the pub in the evening for my leaving do. Everyone had a good skin full...of course my skin full was bottled water lol. I got to sing on the kareoke twice and my friend video'd one of my efforts which she is planning on putting on facebook lol. I will have a look and then post the link maybe.

Off to see MIL as she was taken into hospital again on thursday. She only came out just over a week ago.

I will be spending the next 8 weeks slowly getting everything ready for Daniels arrival.

Hope you are all well and enjoying the lovely weather.

    thats great news rwl!!! xxxx

lane - did you get your date???

cheeky - hope you get a second trimester boost of energy soon!!

em - hope you are well hon xxx

i have been leaning more and more away from vbac to c-section. it didnt help this week that i was working with two children who have special needs and when i read their paediatrician reports, their difficulties had both been caused by problems from a difficult labour, i just feel like i am not having a c-section for selfish reasons, because of the recovery and i am only opting for vbac because i want to give it a go and also be seen to have tried. anyway, going to shut up about the birth now, becasue as everyone keeps telling me, i wont have to decide til nearer the time.

other than that, all is well, so pleased to be 23 w today, 24 next week is another milestone i have then only three weeks to go til 4d scan, then only 4 weeks after thATAnd ill be pretty much finished at work too all quite easily acheivable milestones to help break the time down.

hope you are all well - i am looking forward to going out for a curry at the mumtaz  in bradford on tuesday for someones mat leave do... yum yummity yum yum she is someone who has had three mcs i think and an early ectopic and has been a great support for me at work, cos the managers hardly have!!! i dont see her often as we work in different places, but her emails have helped, plus the fact she is 14 weeks ahead of me so i can see what comes next!!!

    take care y'all xxx

ohh just bought a bump belt for car seat belt on ebay yest as was fed up of it digging in or slipping back up to bump, but i have loads of big items to get - crib/ moses/ play mat/ steriliser / baby carrier - going to put a beging call out to firends i think!!

    Hi all.

Thats great news RWL. I will keep everything crossed for you.

Glad that you are feeling better Cheeky, it's tirering enough being pg without having to fight illness too.

Jen & Em i wonder if i should have taken up yoga or pilaties as every now and then this spd makes it impossible to walk without looking like i am about 70 lol.

I went for another appointment today. I still have to take the clexane and all the other stuff. My consultant started talking about booking a date for the c-section today He needed to get my dates right as i had been given two. So 1st it was 6th of August then 31st of July now we are officially going by 3rd of August. This is half way between the two so i am happy. They need to get it spot on because we are planning on the c-section at 36 weeks.

The baby is growing well and has put on another 300gs which makes him approx. 2lbs 4oz. Everything that they usually check looks great. He is still breach and i expect he will stay that way. He also wouldn't look at us, he was looking down. I did however get a picture of his bits lol. That will be one for his 18th birthday party.

So another four weeks and i will have my c-section date and as they want to do it on a thursday i am guessing at the 10th of July.

Hi ladies - hope you remember me from the early days of this thread. I'm just dropping by to let you know that after my two consecutive mcs I am now 14 weeks pregnant (so officially in the second trimester). I've also had a private nuchal and addmark test and I've come back as low risk for Downs and Edwards. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's third time lucky for me this time around.

Hope your pregnancies are all progressing well and you are still gaining a lot of support from this thread.

    Take care

    K x
