Hi everyone,  I just wanted to let you know, I have beent to see the consultant and although I got no answer as to why my baby angel grace was still born, he did advise me on ttc and time scales after c section, in general they say 6months, but due to my age!!! 37! he felt twelve weeks would be ok.  So at least now we know,  I shall be thinking about ttc again soon.

Thank you all so much for your response, it has helped me a lot, it is always good to hear from others who have experienced this tragedy and from those who can give advice and reassurance.  Thanks once again.

My second son was stillborn @ 36 weeks in 2006, I was pregnant again 3 months later.  My consultant was happy for me to TTC straight away.  I had no problems with my 3rd pregnancy either (another c-section).  In fact DS3 is 18 weeks and I'm pg again already!

Hiya... I lost my baby Mia in July 07 at 34 weeks, I didn't have a C Section but my friend I met through support on here did and I'll tell her about your post and she can offer some support.  She lost her son at 6 days old after a C Section... we are both now pregnant and like you were desperate to be pregnant as soon as possible.  She found out she was pregnant 4 months after losing her baby and up to now scans have shown that her scar is holding up well.

Any way I wont keep on, I'll ask my friend to post and offer any advice that she can.  So sorry for your loss anything you want to ask me please feel free, take care and good luck x

    Hi,

My baby Grace was born asleep by c section on feb 21st 08 at 41 weeks, my pregancy went well with no complications.  I feel completely destroyed and empty and wondered if anyone knew when it would be safe to try again due to c section.  I have a son aged 7 but feel such a longing for a babes in my arms, that I feel the only way forward is to have another baby soon.  I would appreciate any advice.

    Many thanks
