Hi everyone,
I am new to this site - so a massive hello.
Are any of you going through the same / similar thing??????
I am 28 and last August my world collapsed around me - at 16 weeks it was confirmed that our baby had died due to chromosome problems (Edwards Syndrome / Trisomy 1
. This was my first pregnancy and thought everything would be fine - ie, excited at first scan etc etc. - It destroyed me.The good news, after trying to fall pregnant again for 6 months - it happened. I am now 13 + 3. Have been under consultant care. I had a scan at 6 1/2 weeks and another at 12 weeks. In the waiting room at 12 weeks, I convinced myself that the same thing was going to happen again! Thankfully all is ok.
I wanted to share, that just because you have lost a baby - doesn't mean it will happen again.
Are any of you feeling unwell - ie, sick exhausted & fainting? It's driving me mad!
Hopefully speak to you all soon

Em xxx

I've had a loss down to turner's syndrome, monosomey x, an entire x chromosome missing . Its very similar to edwards. i've since gone on to have 3 children , turners only affects girls. i had my loss at 16w too. we had had a cvs and only had the results after wed already lost her. It was 3 difficult pg's and i never relaxed till my babies were safely here.
Sending all the baby glue in the world for you hunny. x tc.
