Im sooo with you becky! Im currently just over 5 weeks pregnant after a 5 year gap (I mc 5 years ago in the 9th week) and im so scared of it happening again! We have been trying again ever since and this is the first time ive actually missed a period and had a positive test since then.

I have a son of 7 who is totally on the ball and has worked things out but im dreading things going wrong and keep having to tell him the test might be wrong to try and minimise his upset should things go wrong again!

I HATE this next few weeks of waiting until I can be scanned :-( but even so I dont think im EVER going to relax with this pregnancy.

    Hi Camilla,

I am also due in January, the 11th '09. I am really worried now though. My symptoms have been reducing or even disappeared. I have been ttc for 5 years and got pregnant and miscarried in 2005. I am still not believing my BFP as I am sooo afraid of the same thing happening again. I have read lots of blogs and spoken to the Fertility unit Nurses to get help they say if you are not spotting or bleeding with excruciating pain wait until the scan.I'm thinking i'll go nuts before then. By the way I got pregnant outside of treatment. Which is good news, but worry has me not counting my blessing yet. I hope all turns out well and we can keep each other sane until we have our babies(listen to me)

    Hi

I'm too in the same situation Me and DH got our BFP in Oct 07 but at our 12 week routine dating scan we were told baby had no heratbeat and I had suffered a MMC and baby had stopped growing at 9+5 we were devestated. I then opted to have an ERPC and have been trying to conceive ever since so when I got a BFP on Moday we were so pleased but I can't help this will happen again. I don't have any children but this is my 2nd pregnancy. Sorry to have gone on  but  I would to talk to anyone in a similar situation . My new EDD is 22nd Jan 09
