I really hope it all goes wll for you. After a MMc last time at 12 weeks, i was sent for an early scan 7+3 this time. Seeing the heartbeat was amazing! However it hasn't stopped me panicking that its all gonna go wrong again. Every twinge, abnormal discharge- everythging scares the hell out of me. I'm 9+4 now. Got my 12 week scan on 24th, but seems so far away. I only hope things dont go wrong before then, jand that i don't get any bad news from it. Let us know how you get on, am thinking of you hon X

    hi jess,

the chances are good if they have seen a strong healthy heartbeat.

i have found myself going thru similar strong beliefs that it will all go wrong, there will be problems etc, and i think maybe it our minds trying to steady us against what maybe in the past came to us as a complete out of the blue shock, because mcs are what happens to someone else, right?

now we know better, and i think my way iof coping with that was to have total panic attacks before scans that there would be something wrong, because if they turned around and told me that, or there was no hb, well, i was expecting that wasnt i? self-preservation in one sense, plus also a sense of not believing it CAN go right for us.

you have seen a good strong hb, you have got to nearly 10w already without any problems (i presume) soon you will know and start having to believe it can be a positive outcome, and thats scary letting yourself go and believing.

let us know how you get on, and big hugs

    Hiya,

I can totally understand your worry. I had a mc just before xmas at 9 weeks, I found out i was pregnant again and i could not get an early scan. I tried different GP's, nurse, mw and the EPU at hospital but they all said no so i was petrifeid before my 12 weeks scan. ANyway, i found this information on a website when i was looking into having a private scan, hope it helps a bit

I will keep my fingers crossed for you that everything is ok this time. I am now almost 16 weeks and it starts to get a little bit easier and you can realax a little bit more with each week that passes. Just take it a day at a time and try to stay positive,

I had a early scan at 7+4 and all was well and we saw a strong heartbeat

Ive had my 12 weeks date thru today and not im terrified something is gonna go wrong before then

What are the chances of Miscarrying after you have seen the heartbeat? surely it is lower than if you havent?

Can anyone give me any advice?

    Thanks in advance

    Jess 9+5 xx
