hi there, yes so relieved to get this far and all be good. Had a wee scare on tuesday tho with a small spot of dark red blood so zoomed off to the GP but was just told to take it easy and of course not worry unless it got heavier and worse. It has since just been the odd brown stuff. Had my MW appointment today as well so am in the system properly, I mentioned all the brown discharge to her as well and she said its nothing to worry about and that they are only concerned if it is fresh red blood - so i am going to try to not worry about it and try and enjoy being PG. Can't helping wishing that the 12 week scan would hurry up and arrive tho as i think getting that out the way and it being okay is a major milestone, oh well only 4 weeks to go. Hope you are all keeping well.

    Hiya,

Just popped in - I also had a early scan at 7 weeks- its was like winning the lottery after having 3 M/Ws in the last 2 years.

Im now 20 weeks and staying positive does help. Roll on fri as I have  got my Amnoly scan. I had hormone injections from finding out to 12 weeks- so I think this must of helped.

All the luck in the world for you hun.

hi girls, just wanted to let you know that i had my early scan this morning (7+6 weeks) and all is fine, we have a 'baby' of the right size and it has a heartbeat, so that is further than we got last year. Its still early days but we worry a little less now. hope you are all well.

hi girls, hope you are all well and everything is going fine. It seems my spotting has stopped for the meantime so hoping thats a good sign. Have got my scan on monday (i will be 7+6) so not long to wait to see what's going on. Hope you all have lovely weekends, we have got my DD's 3rd birthday party tomorrow so will be busy - just hoping i can stay awake for it, have been very tired lately (good sign maybe??). Take care.

    Hi

I am currently1o weeks pregnant.  I had a mc in december and was really devastated - i was around ten weeks but the hosp says baby died at 8 weeks.  All has been ok so far , although i have same worries as some of you - checking and panicking every time i go to the loo!

I have had more symptoms this time around - tiredness, breasts sore and huge and feeling sick - not sure if this is a good sign or not.  Cant wait for 12 week scan.  They scanned me at 6+2 and all was fine - saw sac and heartbeat.  cant wait to get next two weeks out of the way.  Had tiny amount of brown spotting today and some pain last night but am praying all is well.

Am new to this site so nice to meet you all!

Penny sounds like you and i are going through the same thing, my spotting has reduced quite a bit and so has my nausea - not sure if its a good thing or not. I have only 1 week to wait for the scan and have decided i will only go the GP if i get pain or the spotting turns pink/red and just hope that all is okay. Boobs are still feeling heavy (am in maternity bras already) and get tired easily so hope those are still good signs. Take care.

I've had no spotting since, but my morning sickness is subsiding loads.
Although it's something i should be chuffed about, it also makes me kinda worried -as it's one of those things which could be an indicator of MC.......
Still I think everything a little out of the ordinary is gonna make me worry. I need to try and relax about it all a bit!
Hope you ladies are ok and had a nice weekend?. x

that's great news Em. Penny hope you are okay. My spotting has gotten a bit less and a bit lighter shade of brown today as well so am going to try and hold off til my scan on the 16th. Not too keen on getting the scan moved earlier as we are having DD's birthday party on the 14th and if it is bad news i would rather enjoy her party first.

hi there, i just came on to post about similar concerns and found your thread. I am 6+2 (have got a  3yr old DD and had MC last year) and have had brown spotting/discharge which seemed a bit heavier today and am worried as the one i lost stopped growing at about 6 weeks. Everything i have been told or read tells me that if its brown then i shouldn't be too concerned but i can't help worrying. I have got a private scan booked in a couple of weeks but this is so scary. If it gets any heavier i might just go to the GP for some reassurance. I hope both of you are fine and things work out well.

Hey I kind of know how you feel.

I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks back at beginning of March. I was due for my dating scan 3 days after it happenend. I started noticing a little light spotting and contacted MW, she told me not to worry. Went to bed that night and had the worst abdominal pains, so bad I couldn't sleep. Called MW again in morning and she told me not to worry unlesss heavy bleeding occurred. I wnet to work (2nd week in new job), and ended up bleeding and in agony. I went straight to hosp, and knew what was happening. Thy did a scan and advised that although I was 12 weeks pregnant baby was only actually 7 weeks, and had stopped growing. I was completely devastated.

However a few months on & I'm pregnant agauin, now about 91/2 weeks gone.
Due to suffering really bad stress/low blood pressure I was sent for an early scan at 7 1/2 weeks this time. When they picked up a heartbeat I was overcome with emotion. I still can't relax about it though and keep expecting the worst to happen. Every little twinge frightens me, sand every trip to the loo I prepare myself to see what I don't want to see. Does that sound morbid?

I have been suffering really bad this time round from morning sickness, however so far today this doesn';t seem to have affected me. I have noticed a little light browny pink discharge and so I'm really worried this could be the start of another miscariage. I'm due my 12 week scan inabout 3 weeks, it seems so far away though & I'm scared I may not make it that far, or that if I do my worst fears may be confirmed.

It's so hard to try and be positive after experiencing such a tragedy, but reading other peoples posts on here, like yours helps me to realise that there are so many other women going through the same or similar situations. I really feel for you, and hope that everything turns out for the best, I know how hard it is to try and be positive, but lets' just hope that things will be better this time  X

I had a mmc last year i was 13 weeks but sac stopped growing at 8 weeks and was empty.  We started ttc again 2 months later and caught the first month.  Ive had 2 early scans which showed a healthy baby (i was 7 weeks) im now 11+5 and have had brown blood today and im so scared im loosing another one. MW wont send me for a scan until i get red blood but i just dont think i could cope with this happening again. My ds is 2 and i dont want him to see me so upset again and i dont know what to do my 12 weel scan is next weds x
