Claire {{{{{{hug}}}}}}} you must be so worried chick.  2 weeks is far too long to have to wait.  Can't they at least take your blood hcg levels and check them again in 2 or 3 days time - that would help?

I had my bloods taken again this morning and called for the results this afternoon.  My hcg levels have risen but not as much as they would have liked so I get a repeat scan on Friday - one week is a long time to wait, 2 weeks must be hell!

Try calling your local early pregnancy unit or midwife and explain how distressed you are and ask if they would offer you an earlier scan or hcg comparison tests.  It is awful to have to sit there not knowing what to do.

Do you think your dates could be wrong?  Sending you all the luck in the world hun, I know how you are feeling and it is awful xxx

Hi, just butting in here. I came off pill after 8yrs & got pg straight away. Thought I should be 9wks mon. Hadn't any sickness at all, just sore boobs. This disappeared last mon and have had nothin all wk only headaches. Started spotting light brown yest. Doc referred me for u/s this afternoon and they said the baby was only 5wks, so I've either lost it or got dates wrong!! He wants me back in 2wks for another scan to see is it just the dates!! Really worried....

That's great news Bionic.  I'm chuffed for you hun

Sadly my scan was not good news.  No heartbeat and a lot of blood around the baby.  Have been told not to be optimistic as it isn't looking good.

Getting more bloods done on Saturday morning and a repeat scan a week tomorrow but know it won't be good news.

Have been referred to recurrent miscarriage specialist and should get appointment in 3 or 4 weeks time.  Feeling so hurt and heartbroken and not sure I can go through all this again.

Take care and loads of glue xxx

Lindsay - it'll be my first scan and I'll be 7 weeks (only getting it then cos I complained).  I too was told they would take special care of me this time but doesn't feel like it.  I'm 6 weeks today and trying not to get myself into a state - just wish I had some symptoms.  Couldn't you complain to your hospital and tell them you are worried sick and they should scan you to reassure you?  Good luck hun x

Welcome to Bionic - this waiting game is a nightmare isn't it.  Hope we will all be pushing cute prams in 9 months time x

Hi Lindsay - I feel the same chick.  I don't even have sore b00bs today.  I called the hospital to complain about them changing my appointment and to cut a long story short I'm getting a scan next week after all - glad I complained now.

When I was pregnant with my son I didn't have any symptoms either so I know that it isn't necessarily bad news but after 2 mc my confidence has been shattered.

It's good that your 5 week scan showed up something chick.  When do you get another scan?

How is everyone else doing? xxx

Congratulations Laura - sending some baby glue your way

I've just received a letter saying my hospital appointment has been changed until 14th August now - that's 3 weeks away so I am fed up!  Think I'll call them in the morning and see if I can get something sooner... doubt it but worth a try ...

I've got jelly like cm today (tmi!) so hope that's not a bad sign.

Babyglue and hugs to you both x

    HI girls

Just wanted to show some support for you.

I have just found out im pregnant (about 5 weeks) after my miscarriage in May.  I took a test last thursday as i was feeling nauseus, and it was positive! Taken another 3 since then and all positive, although I sometimes feel pregnant (sore boobs, nauseus) i dont feel the same as i did last time. Sometimes I feel nothing at all.

I dont know whether im reading too much into things and every time i go to the loo i expect to see blood. I was spotting on and off for two weeks before i took my test, but when i phoned hospital the nurse said its quite common as i havent had a period since my m,iscarriage....

Anyway, got to wait til 19 august til my 8 week scan and im soooo scared! trying to stay positive, but finding it hard to get too excited and bond with my yet-to-be bump!

Anyway, rant over. Good luck to yo both xxx

    Hi again

Glad the doc thinks it's just a tummy upset.  My boobs seem to be tender one day and not the next and my constipation hasn't come back which still concerns me but I'm trying to be more positive.  I have started taking baby aspirin (75mg) as I have heard that it won't do any harm and may sctually do some good so fingers crossed.  I have an obstetrics appointment on 31st July (week on Thurs) and will hopefully get an early scan then.  Can you not get one to help reassure you that all is progresssing well?

    Lisa x

Thanks for the reply hun. I'll be 6 weeks on wednesday too!

I've just got back from the doctors because I've been getting really sharp pains in my tummy, pelvis, back, everywhere (lol) for the past couple of days and I've been paranoid I'm having an ectopic pregnancy... The doctor seems to think it's more likely a tummy bug, which I've had for over a week now, and I'm quite constipated too which isn't helping. Apparantly my tummy doesn't feel swollen, and where I've said the pain is and how I react when he pushed on my sides, he doesn't think it's an ectopic pregnancy.

I'm still worried, obviously, but feel slightly more reassured now.

I'm even panicing now because my boobs don't feel as tender as they have done. Even though they did this morning. I never worried once when I was pregnant with my little boy, and I had bleeding, pains everything to start with, but I'm just so worried after last time that something's going to go wrong... and waiting until the scan seems such a long time to have to wait and worry and ponder over things! I keep wishing I'd not taken the test yet! Lol

    xx

Hi Frances. I totally understand how you are feeling hun.  I'm Lisa age 35 and I will be 6 weeks pregnant on Wednesday and I am an emotional wreck.  I have a 3 yr old son and had 2 mc's last year - 1 in August at 7 weeks and 1 in November at 4+4 weeks.  I felt positive the first couple of days of this pregnancy but have steadily getting more and more stressed and worried.  I coped fine with the other 2 mc's but don't feel I could cope with another.  I was awake from 3am until 5am panicking and have been crying almost constantly since I woke up at 8am.  I am drained with fear.

My constipation and breast pain has gone and I am so worried all is not well.  I feel like I have no symptoms and am scared to be positive incase I get a shock if I find out I have lost this baby. God, I want this baby so, very much.

Sending you a hug and baby glue x

I've just found out I'm almost 6 weeks pregnant. I had a miscarriage last year at about 12 weeks, and also have a healthy son who's 4 and a half. I've been so desperate for another baby for so long but I'm so worried that it will go wrong again. I've got a tummy bug at the moment, so I'm getting tummy cramps anyway, but even though I know this I still panic every time I feel the tiniest pain in my abdomen! And every time I go to the loo I'm convinced I'm going to start bleeding.

I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling like this, but I don't have my midwife  appointment until the 14th August and I obviously won't have a scan for a few more weeks after either. I just feel like I'm going to be constantly stressed out and worrying about it....
