Totally agree with you.

I know, they can be really insensitive.

Just so glad that everything was ok, and knowing that bleeding dos not necessarily mean miscarriage - well, quite reassuring. they said if i have any fresh blood from now on ive to go straight in.

i hpe hat if i do have to they dont keep me waiting over 2 hours in a waiing room with heavily pregnant women or women in labour! i felt awful, but couldn't stop staring at them and crying, thinking the worst....

That is unbelievable!  Fancy telling you they wouldn't scan!

I had a bad experience last week - had my second bleed this pregnancy (had 2 previous mc) and rang the hospital who told me that I must be having a miscarriage - I was put in a taxi from work to the hospital which cost £55 and then when I was scanned everything was fine!

I sometimes wish they would be a bit more sensitive especially with people who have had previous miscarriages!

I'm 15.5 weeks preg and last week, I statred bleeding... after my last preg ending in mc you can imagine how scared i was, but decided to leave it overnight to see what happened. was stil bleeing the next morning so called hospital who said come right in.

got there half an hour later, and they kept me waiting for 2.5 HOURS!!

eventually got taken in by midwife, to be told they couldnt do a scan to check baby was ok as i had one 3 weeks ago and they wouldnt do one il after 16 weeks.. well you can imagine, i went absolutely mad and after much arguing my case, they eventually agreed to give me one! luckily everything was ok, and said blood was old, probably from when i was bleeding before i found out i was pregnant...

anyway, just wanted a rant!!! rant over!
