I had my little girl at 27 weeks after an emergency c section as i had eclampsia. After reading some of the posts im quite scared. xx

I took low dose aspirin as well as we lost Hannah at 39 wks............. Jude was induced at 37 wks and i was told to take it right up until the morning i had him. I did have a bleed after having him BUT the staff were prepared for it and dealt with it really quickly and easily.

I was on 75mg of aspirin in my last pregnancy due to 8 mc`s and 4 pre term births. I had been told to stop taking it at 36 weeks but my little lady had no intention of waiting that long!! I had an emergency c section at 32 weeks, having taken an aspirin less than 12 hours earlier. There were no complications at all from taking aspirin right up to her birth xx

Hi i was on 150mg of asprin on last pg. I had lost 3 boys over the last 10 years at 18, 19 & 24 weeks of pg and also a loss at 6 weeks. I was put on 75mgs first then i had to inject clexane every day, then at 18 weeks they increased the asprin to 150mgs. I took the asprin until 34 weeks and Daniel was delivered 14 weeks ago at 36+4. I was told that the asprin takes a while to get out of your system. I had a section.

Hia. I was on aspirin for my pregnancy (I now have a ds who is 19 wks after 3 previous losses.....still feels amazing to write that!). Was advised to stop taking aspirin at 36 wks. Was induced but only a bit earlier than normal - a week after my due date. No definate evidence of placental clotting causes though in previous pregnancies. All the best ladies x

Hi gatecrashing from DIN.  Last year I suffered a miscarriage at 24 weeks due to a bloodclot in the placenta.  I had 2 further mc after and for this pregnancy was put on 75mg of asprin from when I was 6 weeks pg.

Im now 34+5 ans my consultant has asked me to stop at 36 weeks (so im assuming my last will be on 35+5??) and they are "discussing" a possible induction at 38 weeks.

    HTH xx

I took low dose aspirin with this pregnancy after 2 mmc's. I was told to stop by my midwife at 12 wks. I don't think this is the same for everyone though so would see what other people say. I know some women have taken it almost right up to their due date.

Hi - i've posted this on high risk too but wondered if any of you ladies could help.

I am on low dose aspirin following 2 previous miscarriages when I lost babies due to blood clots in placenta

I am now almost 33 weeks - I have asked my consultant when I should stop taking it and she seemed really unsure - she just said "about 36 weeks"

My own research (dangerous I know) says that yes I should stop at 36 weeks but that baby should be delivered at 38 weeks to prevent placenta from clotting up again.

Is anyone else on this and, if so, what advice have you been given?

Many thanks for taking the time to read this - any advice you have would be greatly appreciated

    Lisa x
