I have big boobs and when I was out the other day I found it really difficult to feed Jessica without getting the whole thing out, waving it around in front of her nose and then having to sit trying to hide the massive expanse of boob on show.
There are no breastfeeding facilities in this town at all, you are lucky to find a toilet if you need to pee, so your option is very limited as to where you can sit to feed.
The only cafes are a greasy little diner, a greasy little fish and chip shop, a little coffee bistro or MacBloodyDonalds... none of them really very child friendly... and I'd be a brave woman to try feeding in them with Mt Bosom for all the little grannies to see.
Then you have the benches right in the middle of the town, or the benches next to a busy carpark.
I know I shouldn't be ashamed to be feeding my child, and I am not, but I don't think I'd handle anyone commenting or asking me to stop particularly well.
Any tips on how to do it discreetly?
I tried sticking her up my top, but I couldn't latch her and she was uncomfortable. If I pull my top down my whole boob is out. S'blooming hard work!

Hi, there are breastfeeding tops that you can buy that have the two layers, one on top of the other if you see what I mean?.. though I've only ever seen them online. I don't have the same problem with breast size but when I'm out and I have to feed my DS I take a small thin sheet or muslin cloth with me to placce over the top of my breast and that does help.
I use to panic at the thought of someone asking me to stop or making comment's but now I don't bother, I see it as my son is hungry and that is that. As long as you're in a quite spot of the cafe/shop then they have no right to pass comment's and if they do you can complain.
