Yes this is normal. Sit back relax have everything you may need by your side. your lo is gettiing your milk to come in normall around day 6 . then they stay on to increase your supply, and regulate it to their needs. Stick with it, i know it can be hard but its worth the work. take each day as it comes.

i found these a great help in first couple of weeks, plus make sure you ask any q's no matter how daft you feel they are. better to ask than worry. All the ladies on here have been and still are a fantastic support to me,

yeah its norn for lo to feed for what feels like constantly. it dont last forever, get a good book, tv remote n a glass of water n just relax n feed. good luck xxx
she seems to be on my boobs all the time-she cries if i take her off even for 5 mins-is this norm?bless her she was only born yesteday!

i forgot to add, if you have a other half, get him trained up to run round for you and make your food etc. i'm now an expert with eating with one hand as my always wakes when i'm going to eat. i'm sure she knows!
