Thanks everyone think I will do a preg test just to be on the safe side and put my mind at rest

Had 1st period after dd1 when she was 20 months - am hoping they stay away for at least that long this time too!  When they did come back they were very irregular.

thanks for the replies. Guess I'll just have to wait and see then. I do feel pre menstral so could be anyday.

mine took about 6 months after restarting to become regular again after having ds1

My LO is 8 months & I still haven't had a period.  I found it quite a relief!  Should I be worried?

before i had ds1 my periods were bang on every 28 days, i had 1st period when he was 8 months old and they were never regular, sometimes could go 6 to 7 weeks, then i fell pregnant with ds2, started mini pill and had a period, came off it now as kept forgetting to take it and not had one since

It's perfectly normal....i had on the dot 28day cycles and could time it down to the hr before having ds........then they came back about 5mths i think but i never went back on pill and they ranged from 26 to 34 days and in no pattern whatsover.....some peoples do regulate again but mine never did, perhaps they will this time. dd only 4mths and not had one yet.

I had my first period last month after 7 months of bf but this month I am late. I just wondered if anyone elses periods were a bit irregular when they came back? I'm still bf. The main reason I ask is cos I thought I was pregnant last month and was geting lots of symptoms then I got my period now I'm late but we haven't had sex this month. Is this normal. I was always on the dot before baby.
