I cut milk out of my diet as a trial a couple of days ago cos baby was unsettled and appeared colicky. She seems much better but it could be coincidence

yes,hun its true that what u eat effects the taste of ur breast milk.infact, research has shown that after eating banana, within 1/2 hr ur milk will get banana flavour. but giving spicy food doesnt necessarily give colic to the baby, unless u got gas.but remember,to restrict gas forming food while bf,like potato, beans, milk and milk products if u r sensitive, nuts.my ds had colic when i took milk or cheese or potato chips. my italian friend said to give gripe water or star-anice water[gotta make it] for colic.both of these babies love to drink.infact even fennel drink is very soothing to the baby.hope it works for u.

hi all people say what you eat can affect breast milk well I was half way through eating a pasta bake and then found it to be spicy. My baby suffers from colic and last night he was real bad. Does anyone know how long it will take to get out my milk? Thanks in advance
